Debbie shares wisdom on mentorship, tough love, and thriving after rejection. Additionally, Julia talks about the origins of the “Elaine dance” and discusses longevity with her mom, Judy - inspired by Debbie's own mother, who is 101 years old.

Ms Allen is indeed remarkable. Saw the documentary about her school preparing the Nutcracker. Just one area of her many endeavors, but it was wonderful.

I just listened to this one on my way to work and just wanted to say thank you for this podcast in general. I'm 53 and for many years ago I realized the wisdom of the older women in my life when I started hanging out at my grandmother's retirement community. I have since changed careers and now I'm a social worker helping older adults. It's so important for us to treasure and learn from the older people in our lives. Thank you Julia!

Wow Debbie Allen thoughs on Bill Cosby are very concerning. All she could say is that others need to be in jail? Was there someone else drugging and raping these women? None of them have said so? No support of all these women and what they went through? Lost all respect for her and not much wisdom on this episode. Julia responded very well. She didnt agree but met her with silence. No Julia this one is not wiser then you
