Why & How to draw phasor diagram | What is leading and lagging |Animation |PiSquare Academy
In this educational video, we delve into the concept of phasor diagrams, explaining why they are important and how to draw them. Join us as we explore the significance of leading and lagging phase relationships in AC circuits, with the aid of engaging animations.
    Video Content:
Discover the purpose of phasor diagrams in AC circuit analysis. Learn how these graphical representations help visualize the relationship between voltage and current waveforms, aiding in the understanding of complex electrical phenomena.
Explore the step-by-step process of drawing a phasor diagram. Understand the conventions used to represent voltage and current vectors, as well as the angles that signify the phase relationship between them. Witness the construction of a phasor diagram for various scenarios, including simple resistive circuits and circuits with inductive or capacitive elements.
Understand the concepts of leading and lagging. Witness how leading occurs when the current waveform leads the voltage waveform in phase, resulting in a positive phase angle. Similarly, observe how lagging occurs when the current waveform lags behind the voltage waveform, resulting in a negative phase angle. Gain insights into the causes and implications of leading and lagging in AC circuits.
Engage with dynamic animations that bring the phasor diagrams to life, allowing you to visualize the rotating vectors and phase relationships in real time. Witness the effects of changing frequencies and varying circuit parameters on the phasor diagrams.

    Dear Sir,
Excellent lecture! keep it up with more electrical engineering backbone concepts. Would you upload your best video lectures on electrical power like transmission line parameters (short, medium and long transmission lines), electrical power fault analysis, Swing equation, etc.? Also on electrical machines and electrical installation fundamentals. You have rescued our lives from dying of misunderstanding electrical engineering important concepts. The so-called instructors have killed our minds by confusing us rather than installing key basic concepts in us. I am very very grateful to your commitment and video lectures. I and many friends all over the world are proud of you. You are the man who make a difference in millions of lives.

    DEAR SIR
Just watched yr video PHASOR DIAGRAM, LEADING AND LAGGING, PHASOR ADDITION, IN ANIMATED FORM
What an AMAZING VIDEO you have created which i cannot describe in words
This video and yr explanation of this subject is the BEST and 1st of its kind and ranks in the forefront ever produced in the world.
Again i wish to tell u sir that how EASILY and CONVINCINGLY u teach a subject which many consider as INTIMIDATING .I have actually observed that many many thro out the world are having no clear understanding of this which includes a professor who teaches on u tube (many viewers have corrected him by writing comments).
    1. you have answed all doubts of learners EVEN BEFORE THEY ASK FOR CLARIFICATION.
    2. When i watch every word of yr explanation therein i cannot stop admiring how importantly and correctly you have coined them and emphasized them for a perfect understanding .
YR THIS ONE AND THE ONLY VIDEO WILL BENEFIT CRORES OF LEARNERS THRO OUT THE WORLD INCLUSIVE OF FUTURE GENERATION.
PHASORS ARE NO MORE AN INTIMIDATION TO ME AFTER VIEWING THIS VIDEO. .WELL UNDERSTOOD THE SUBJECT WITHOUT A DOUBT.

this video was very intuitive and helped me a lot. Although I dont know why EE teachers dont take the 10 seconds to explain that j is just the immaginary number i, only in eletrical engineering we use j because i already represents current. It could solve so much confusion when teaching rotating by imaginary numbers in electrical engineering.
