Thanks for the history. You literally filled in lot of gaps in history I was unaware. Makes so much sense how it all came about. I’ve been working on my project, free energy, if I can get around to it since college. MIB showed up at college and took everything and called me in a threatening way to never built it again. That’s 40 years ago and thanks to internet.
Wonderful... I watched this video accidentally today, and enjoyed every minute. What precious information in just 30 minutes. I have subscribed to this channel to visit regularly .. Regards from Islamabad.
Sir please uploaded complitl vedios about machines and also every subject it is useful for poor people and village background students. Your teaching level is good and clearly. Please upload every subject complitly in order. Please sir 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Sir literally a fantastic explanation!! Amazed by your efforts to make us understand by going through such a deep inventions and presenting them here. Thanks a lot sir😍😍Now onwards i can explain to those who ask me this question & how and from where did u get these sources sir??
An excellent video.I did not know the reason of using 50 Hz and 60 Hz. Congratulations. Un excelente video. No sabía la razón de usar 50 Hz y 60 Hz. Felicitaciones

What a great history stories man. I really saw it as interesting periodic film. At the end shared this video to my Engineering professors of my college's electrical department..
After watching this short video also i couldn't get the technical reasoning in support of 50hz frequency in India. Means firstly I have start with currency, secondly with weighing stones and 3rd one the reason of Nicholas Tesla and finally we got 50hz frequency in India. Is this is the answer I have to give when a interviewer asks this question. Tell me please
Thank u sir. Most mysterious question. And please explain why we can't store the ac energy ?? In quara so mny explanations are there..no one satisfies me..plz consider it sir
@@vugyhy ...the interesting fact is ..the o/p of the dc generator is also a.c ..just we r converting ac to dc by using commutator...sir also told that , unintentionally they get ac through dc generator ...i hope , this is relevent to ur question
Why 1500 or 3000 speed for 50Hz. I ask this question because I came across another reason for 50Hz. So now I am confused with whether First frequency then speed has decided or revese?
For same voltage rating, with increase in frequency no of turns per phase of a transformer decrease, which decrease the overall size of the transformer. This high frequency and smaller size transformer is used in aircrafts.
Just go through the output equation of a transformer .. in which you will get Q = 2.22 *f* dimensions of transformer .. So when you increase the frequency , for same output transformer dimensions becomes lower ..hence its size reduces.
With use of high frequency, time duration of magnetisation of core in any direction decreases. So for same current, we need to handle comparatively lower flux. So we can use a transformer with smaller core. Transformer is noting but a two winding inductor. Say when we give DC voltage(one directional) to inductor, current will keep on rising. So it the flux with time. 50hz = 0.02sec. or one half cycle is 0.01sec. now if we increase the frequency, flux will not rise as in case of 50HZ. So small flux can be handled by a transformer with lower core area. Thus size reduces
Sir.... We are all likes your lessons. Sir I have one doubt.about 3phase induction motor, having only 3 out put terminals. now how to find out internal connections star or delta? With out name plate details.

kasyap sharma yes I am curious to get the answer
Sure we will do it soon
When ac supply was invented till that time there was no ac generator so how they generated it and how they set the frequency.
@@vugyhy ...the interesting fact is ..the o/p of the dc generator is also a.c ..just we r converting ac to dc by using commutator...sir also told that , unintentionally they get ac through dc generator ...i hope , this is relevent to ur question

Sir,
What actually is Voltage & Current ? Give Practical Examples
Sir why transformer size reduce when we increase frequency of transformer
For same voltage rating, with increase in frequency no of turns per phase of a transformer decrease, which decrease the overall size of the transformer. This high frequency and smaller size transformer is used in aircrafts.
Just go through the output equation of a transformer .. in which you will get
Q = 2.22 *f* dimensions of transformer ..
Thus size reduces
windings. You need more windings and bigger cores the more voltage is involved.
Very nice
sir can you add a video of series and parallel rlc circuit ,describing the variation of reactance in the circuit with frequency.

Hi how r u and I need details of how to calculate voltage drop of circuit
sir can we get info about basics Traction system and how a traction motor and substation works ?
So in america they still use 120V?
Your explanation very well & my question is can use 50 cycle frequency in 60 cycle motor or light in AC circuits as well 60 cycle 50 cycle circuits
