@@zack60 he is 25-26 working around good players all the time and if he gets a call up from England... he surely must improve with working his arse off with these types of players... he is just coming in the prime of his football career...25-26 to 31-32 tend to be the best years for players... so he might just need to get more game time and always give a 100%....
Winks is still only 23 and he'd be a given in the England midfield if it wasn't for injuries at wrong times. As no other England midfielder brings what he does.
@@morlar that is the problem for injury prone players look at players like bale,sturridge,gotze,michael owen ,they never reached the hight people expected them to reach.

Whether it’s a penalty or not, using it as an excuse for killing the game is a very weak mentality, that’s when you roll your sleeves up and get back into to it, it’s football. I know Winks didn’t say that but the presenter suggesting the game was killed after 2 minutes when both teams had 11 men on the pitch is ridiculous
It wasn't over but you can't deny that it changed the pace of the game. Liverpool would not have sat back like that if that hadn't happened.
