I made a hilarious comedy documentary in HS about teen sex. I went to a small arts magnet school in the late 90s filled with _alternative_ teens who were all very good at answering things that just ended up being funny, so I went with it. Awe, those were the days of immature creative silliness!

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the actual footage of the expedition was shot for a different show entirely, and then sold off to a different company, then repackaged as Bigfoot Girl, as happens with shows like this sometimes

Does the doc mention if Thomas Seawood is First Nations? If so, his comments about wearing a mask when meeting big foots (feet?) make a lot of sense when you consider the decimation of First Nations populations (in BC in particular) due to the intentional spread of small pox through blankets. I think his comment really shows the respect for all of our relations inherent in First Nations (and Indigenous more broadly) communities. Just some thoughts from a Mohawk girl who did some studying of Indigenous-settler relations on the coast of BC

Love this video and your manic passion. They did an episode of Finding Bigfoot in my area and did the "town hall meeting" in my town and I got to go to the taping. I even show up on camera cause I was in the first row. I love bigfoot lore but I definitely take everything with a huge grain of salt.

I think this was an acting gig for Kiana, and I fully believe from the clips you'd shown that they purposely edited it to make it look like Kiana was there (yet wasn't)

Years ago I was hired to test out tracking equipment for one of those bigfoot shows. They strapped a GPS tracker on me (that they were going to hide in ham hoping it would be eaten by a bigfoot) and sent me out into Wichita KS. They hunted me down and then paid me in food and beer. Unfortunately I didn't get any of the ham.

As a cynical skeptic my favorite Bigfoot conspiracy rhetoric is that "Bigfoot has 'evolved' to be invisible to parts of the electromagnetic spectrum". Specifically they're referring to infrared and other non-visiible wavelengths because they have literally no other answer to how Bigfoot avoids HD trail cams and powerful, flight-based thermal imaging.
