I first met Courtney Marie Andrews when she was touring as Damien Jurado's guitarist. She was a wicked player and I was really impressed by her chops, and so I was even more impressed when she started putting out albums and revealed herself to be an insightful and wise songwriter and lyricist too. I'm very honoured to see her cover my song 'Sleight of Hand'.
