    Really appreciate your video. I have the bizango and I am planning to install a kit on it in the coming months. This video is invaluable, thank you 👍👍👍

      That's the best thing with non click bait you tube.We can all share and learn from each other.The Bizango is still going strong and the chain and cassette are holding up well.I did have a motor issue that's covered in part 2 update of the build.That was fixed watching someone elses video.Good luck with the build.If I was to start again.I would use the Lekkie onenut. Around 25$£E saves the trouble with the torque bracket.

    I miss mine so much. Now they are to expensive for me to buy the newer models. Love the video. Finding a frame for one is imposable here

      Sorry for the late replay ruggy.Moving house and been living back in the 80's (no internet)🙂.If it's any consolation. My wild camping plans are now delayed indefinitely after the expense of moving.

    Was the bottom bracket a threaded one? I am looking to get the Voodoo bizango pro 2022 as I like the geometry. currently have the boardman mht 8.9 with the bbs02 installed.

      Yes it's threaded d1d .Two threaded sleeves hold the crank in place. the crank is a TRUVATIV model # BB-06-PSPL-118/68E.

      @@d1d1ka29 Other than a spacer on the chain drive side to clear the rear drop outs no.I would recommend the Lekkie Onenut as the 2mm spacer on the chain drive side gives very little thread for the Bafang item to fit after the torque arm is fastened.

    Does this work for a voodoo hoodoo?

    • @frankintegrity7996
      @frankintegrity7996  Před rokem

      The Hoodoo has a narrower rear drop outs.I know this has my son has one. The Bizango has wider chain stays than the Hoodoo.It will fit how ever the chain line will be less than Ideal on any chain ring other than the Bafanf off set options.

      Have you ever considered a geared hub, like the Shimano alfine, they do an 11 speed, you can get them for less than a few hundred quid. No chain line issues either, that's why I changed to a geared hub.

      @@frankintegrity7996 I don't know why they are not more popular, there's no setting up, less maintenance as they are sealed, you can change gear when stationary, they may be a bit heavier but who cares on an ebike.👍

    I have same voodoo Bizango bike and I would like convert it in e-bike..could you tell me what is the size of your frame?or the exact 3 measures of the inside of frame please?any recommendation to choice the right battery ? My frame looks too small for a 500w..

      Ivo the frame internal dimensions for the 18 inch frame are 300mm x 470mm x590mm.I am using a 12.5ah 36v .I suggest using CAD (card board aided design😁) searching the 48v battery option sizes and making a template from cardboard of the battery .Then see if this will fit the frame making allowance of 20mm for sliding the battery in and out of the fixing bracket.

      As for range.Well of course that depends on how much leg work you are prepared to put in.And the terrain you are riding in. The GPS record of my last ride which was 90% off road on loose single track trails. Was 48km with 762m of Elevation. At the end of this trip the battery was nearing it's end of charge. Hope that helps.
