How to do the cube root of 24 in the same calculator
I am solving simultaneous equations with decimal values, its giving me math error. But working on 991es plus calculator correctly.
good afternoon, please tell me how exactly on this calculator (casio fx 991ex) to solve two equations (intersection of a circle and a straight line), thanks.
On this calculator, if you are trying to solve a polynomial with a linear, it is a bit more difficult. You can't use Equation Solver menu since that only does simultaneous equations up to 4 unknowns, but not simultaneous polynomials. If you solve a polynomial it is looking only for the roots.
One possible method would be to put both equations in y= and/or f(x)= form (so solve for y). The circle equation would then be a square root. You could then go to the Table menu and enter both equations (one in f(x), the other in g(x). Then find the intersections in the table. I would then use the QR code to 'see' the graphs and you could see the intersections. Of course, you are only going to see half the circle at a time, so you would need to do it again for the negative square root as well.
A graphing calculator is a better tool for polynomial intersections.
