- Beware of the Angel of Light, Satan
The Deceiver, the Liar, the One who cannot abide in the Truth is allowed to exert his full powers of deception. God is guarding and preserving all the truth-lovers, the rest of mankind goes with the Devil. That is a thumbnail of the End.
The First Seal is the Global spread of the Lie. Amazingly, this first seal and its white horseman of deception is an event on God’s timetable, much described in the Scriptures. We ended last time in 2 Thessalonians.
Please turn back there with me and as you do, remember that these twin epistles to the church in the city of Thessalonica, were Paul’s first epistles. Paul taught them more about Christ’s end-time plans, than anyone except John in Revelation.
First, Truth Gets Abandoned: 2 Th. 2:3
Then, Almighty God Gets Pushed Aside: 2 Th. 2:4-8
Then, Satan Amazes the World: 2 Th. 2:9-10
So, God Sends Strong Delusion on Truth Neglectors: 2 Th. 2:11-12 And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Our protection comes as we believe the truth about God. Last time we looked at the century-old set of doctrinal positions in a book called The Fundamentals, which defined orthodox doctrine for those God calls “lovers” of the truth.
This group of conservative, Bible-believing, and teaching pastors and professors sat down and declared what were the “foundational doctrines” of the faith. They published their confession in a set of books called The Fundamentals, which contains:
Seven Essential Doctrines
Here is the list of the seven essentials, that were written as a guide to warn us when the truth is eroding in Christ’s Church.
INSPIRATION: All we know and believe about God is based on His Word, so they affirmed the Inspiration and Reliable Historicity of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
DOCTRINE: God’s Word teaches clear doctrines about Jesus Christ and His Church, so they specifically named the cults who presented false gospels in their day such as the errors of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormonism, Christian Science, Spiritism, and so on (Titus 1:9).
DEPRAVITY: God’s Word declares the reality of sin, so they affirmed that man is not basically good, but born a sinner (Romans 5:12).
SUBSTITUTION: God’s Word only presents Biblical salvation as received only by faith in the God-incarnate Christ Jesus who became sin for sinners to save them (2 Corinthians 5:21a).
IMPUTATION: God’s Word teaches that salvation can not be earned at any level, and is dispensed by God, not by any church and cleric, thus they clearly exposed the errors of Roman Catholicism, and every other religion of human achievement and works righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21b).
CHRISTOLOGY: All doctrinal error starts in some way with an incorrect view of Christ, so they strongly affirmed the Deity, the work, and the personal visible Return of Christ (2 John 1:9-11). Last time we ended here. Note the final essential is:
CREATION: God is revealed from cover to cover in His Word as the Creator of the Universe just as described in the Bible, so they exposed the grave errors of Evolutionism and Darwinism.
Colossians 1:15-17(NKJV) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

I am an ex Satanist and before that an atheist. I was addicted to meth and a heavy alchoholic, I almost died to my addiction in 2017...in 2 weeks I will be 3 years sober and clean thanks to Jesus Christ. I was saved from darkness also and bought into Salvation by the blood of Christ. Jesus is absolutely real, if you will just confess Him as Lord and believe in Him alone for salvation truly, He will help you repent and grant you the gift of everlasting life. Your heart will be changed and you will live a new life (not a perfect or easy one, mind you, but there is a great reward).
I would like to add that this man has fed me so much spiritual meat over the last couple years and it's helped me to grow tremendously, thank you.

But how do you know that what Jesus meant by 'deceiver' is all the protestant churches that exist across the US? How do you know that your Church is not the deceiving one? I had mostly apostate instructors in Bible college, but the rare few who were being lead by the Holy Spirit to teach us ministers how to become true ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ were just as dynamic. Examples of what is being taught to student minsters. "Christianity is dying out and the world will soon be all muslim, we might as well face it"... It's like no dude Jesus did not fail, this is the end of days...which he didn't believe in... another minister head of the college: in Homelitics class: Sometimes you just have to get away from all those Christians and just go to the bar and forget about everything to do with Christianity. Well You are a pastors son, aren't you a Christian too??? New Testament Survey class: I hope we see Judas in heaven, he did repent after all.... She had her masters degree and couldn't do a simple exegesis. Judas Iscariot had remorse but of the kind which does not bring about full repentance. There is a completely different word for the kind of remorse that brings one to a heart wrenching full and complete repentance that brings about forgiveness and Judas didn't have it. Judas was called the 'son of perdition'. Jesus called him a devil. If he was forgiven then why did Matthias have to take his place among the disciples? He was not repentant to the degree that brings about forgiveness. Christian counseling: when it comes to counseling whether personal or marriage and family you just have to throw out your Bible and use a psychology text...even though 2 Tim 3.16-17 tells us that the Bible is good for every sort of correction and counseling. It's no wonder sermons are 20 minutes long of the seeker sensitive type as to not offend anyone.... I wonder how we manage to get ANY ministers to preach the Gospel. Lots of them are basically ministers because their family expects it and they "need a job". Guess what- it doesn't pay all that well unless one is fleecing the flock. I refuse to fleece anyone. When I became ordained we all had a supernatural calling from God to minister to people and preach the salvation message with the exception of one. I strongly suspect he was angry and was wanting to use being an ordained minister as a means of controlling those around him as if he were the final authority. God will deal with this man. The sad thing is I wasn't ordained with a single one of my classmates. Only one classmate has gone on to become a real minister but she was ordained elsewhere and we have lost contact with one another. apostasy abounds. I have watched seminaries from the founding of this nation suddenly embrace other religions as well as Christianity because it meant a substantial donation to the colleges. Pray for student ministers because the devil is attacking the church from it's foundations on up. If there is a poor foundation not built upon the Gospel of Christ then that church is doomed. I cry for what I see happening in churches today. I am so glad to be a street minister. I have a calling to reach out to those who are not attending any church and show them the love of God written just for them no matter what their circumstances are today. Some of those I have lead to the LORD on the streets are teaching Bible studies, and do it well! Be blessed those who are hanging on to their faith with all their might, we are in the last seconds of the last days!!! Maranatha brethren.

Yes there is a lot of deception but I believe this guy is deceived himself with modern science himself with talk of the universe, the solar system and things the bible directly goes against.
If you can't believe everything in the original message of the bible, you can't believe anything. I believe God's word is unerring and if so called "Science" goes against something in the Bible, it is Science that must be re-examined and not the other way around (although it doesn't hurt to explore ideas to solidify your beliefs)

Then he said now days you have some "main stream preachers" agreeing with. He said they are wrong! That it's Creation just like the bible said. Me too Beverly, me too. I first heard of the rapture when I was 12 and I instinctively knew I would live to around the time of this occurrence! Everything including the natural disasters we were told would increase. The love of many growing cold not only describes the great apostasy of the church but also the incredible divorce rates going on today. Paul spoke of this time of apostasy and mentioned Jews coming back into the folds of Christianity as more wild branches were broken off. I am seeing this too. Zechariah1&2 and the four horns seeking to scatter (and divide) Israel and Jerusalem are four nations (as horns in prophecy usually are) are literally in existence today since the quartet of the middle east was set up in 2002. I read once that in the latter days women would clamor for bigamy because they did not desire to be as spinsters due to a lack of men. If the men of Israel are not dying in the IDF many are becoming gay(but not all!!!) And then I read a Jerusalem Post article that there were a number of women through men making the presentation trying to get it passed in the Knesset that would allow for bigamy. I think I found this in 2008. Everything is set to go for the Gog-Magog war except one thing. Persia (Iran) and Russia (Magog) have made their alliances. Israel, as soon as Trump was elected, addressed the world with empirical evidence that Iran has not ceased making nuclear materials, and with the exposure of 100% of Iran's secret documents and communiques was the fact that both nations wish to take Israel for a spoil. The economies of both nations is such that they are in desperate financial straits and need to do something soon. The hook in the jaw has been set! Prophecy is revealing itself with rapid fire quickness!. The only thing for the Gog-Magog war to happen is for Israel to be dwelling safely as un-walled villages. This is where Zechariah tells us when and how that one thing will come into play. The 4 horns will be punished for trying to divide Israel. The Quartet of the Middle East is Russia, the US, the EU and the UN. When these peoples are punished for signing laws and taking actions to divide Israel (anyone trying to divide Israel will also be divided) then God will intervene and He Himself will guard Jerusalem! When Israel signs an agreement with the antichrist God will turn His back to Israel, but they will be saved when they repent! We are so on the verge of all these prophetic events occurring that I expect they will occur with rapid fire progression! Sometime during all these events when Satan, who is not omnipresent, is really busy at war the believers will be leaving. God has the most perfect plan!!! Plan to see you soon sister! Your teaching. The church I thought I was going to attend, does a QUICK sermon, no more than 20 minutes. Fell good sermons, Dont these ministers realize God is listening I am new in town and it is the hardest thing I have done in years. To find a good teaching church. For the past several years I've been listening to lectures by Professor Walter J. Veith. He is a South African German who was raised by a Catholic father, Lutheran mother, became an atheist at 10 yrs of age, became an occultist in college, taught evolution and genetics at a major University before finally becoming s Christian. And his Christian Life hasn't exactly been a walk in the park. I respect him for all he has been through and how he uses science itself to disprove evolution and then he disproves it biblically.

Selah is in the apocalyptic bible the one king james 1st England cut out 15 books are missing, then he said any who alter this sacred divine holy book will be hung drawn & quartered , ( but that was after he cut up the book 📚 ) we of course did not know he had done that because in England all Bible's were in latin & only the priests read latin, but Selah was cut out of the sacred book (God was cut out of the sacred book) the question is ? I believe God's church will be Raptured before the worst of it. Why do I think this?
The Bible (God's own Word) tells us that the Lord will never allow us (His children) to endure more than we can handle ie: having no choice but to take 'the mark" in order to survive (buy food / shelter / etc...)
The Lord God also promised us He'd never leave us and never forsake us. God says this to His people (ie Believers) to assure us that once we are His, we are ALWAYS His. He would therefore never allow his people to take "the mark" because in order to live life here on Earth, we'd have no choice but to take it or die in way or another. If we took the mark we'd be damned (meaning God would have no choice but to forsake us, which He very clearly promised us His people He will never do) If you doubt this you are in essence calling god a liar. God can not lie.

However: Jesus Himself told us that ONLY GOD THE FATHER knows the exact time of the return. Trying to predict a date is perhaps not quite sinful, but is perhaps a waste of time when more productive activities could prove fruitful.

I was taught about all of this as a young teenager back in the very early 1980's. My mother (and the church we then attended) were very much students of the end times and she had several book about things such as the UPC code etc... that I read.
Seeing it all unfold now has been ... an experience.

A very good sermon. Learning Bible verses and chapters is one of my foundations. They protected me when deceptions were rocking churches in my area. The mind of Christians, of every single one, must be calibrated newly by the Word of God.
It is not hard to see the end times signs....when I tried to talk to my pastor about them I was told "It says in the Bible that we aren't supposed to talk about the end times"

Why should you be sanctified - where does the bible teach that?
Jesus taught his followers that they should pray for God's name to be sanctified - not any human.
“You must pray, then, this way:
“‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified." - Matthew 6:9
Jesus, himself made God's name known .. true Christians know and respect God's name.
“I have made your name manifest .. " - John 17:6

Oh, so true. Jesus did 100% of the work of salvation and gave His possession (salvation) into His father's hands for safe keeping so, why keep His commandments? Because , it is up to you to provide works into YOUR OWN INHERITANCE which is different from salvation. You have everything to do with how you will be rewarded for your life on earth. Those who waste their opportunity of inheritance are the firebrands , plucked from the fire. Having no inheritance but, saved from eternal punishment raised in the first resurrection. Those who are raised up in the second resurrection are given everlasting bodies but, are sent to eternal punishment for blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Nobody can survive the second resurrection . TAKE HEED.

I had been looking for a church of born again people. Found one of at WLA college...they were renting the space for services. I'm 74 now and I was about 72-73 when I went. Nice people..young with young people...singles and young married with small children. Very friendly...lots of singing, which is great too. I just felt too much singing but not enough preparing the congregation for the end times...which are imminent. I decided to look for another church...still looking, also would like a church that keeps the Sabbath day holy.

I never heard pastors or anyone comment about falling church attendance because they can't find a church that doesn't compromise or fail to preach certain passages for fear of offending certain people. Actually, I am totally convinced that the great deception spoken of by Paul is the current idea of a pretribulational rapture. Scripture plainly says in several places that it is AFTER the tribulation and there are also numerous verses demonstrating the Church here during the antichrist's rule. This lie is intended to convince the people of God that His Word lies when it says the Rapture is at the end, not the beginning of the tribulation. God's warned us of what is to come in order to spur us to preparations, just as He did with Noah. But many in the US believe this lie and refuse to prepare. And MOST of them will fall away when they realize that their very lives are at stake if they refuse the mark.

God's Word never says we are to talk/pray to the Holy Spirit, we are to pray to God through Jesus Christ. Be careful talking with a spirit....might not be the Holy one! God's Word will give us all truth.....seek Jesus, Almighty God the Father, through God's Word! Not some experience with prayer, etc.

I agree I stopped attending churches 20 years ago I've been a Christian 50 years I finally realized there is no church that represents Christ and that the body of Christ is two or more Christians gather together with the Holy Spirit. It took a while to figure this out like 30 years I'm a little slow :-)

@@griffen98 I have found no church fully correct to the Bible but the two closest if picking through denominations and churches would be "The 7th Day Adventists" church and the "Messianic Jewish" Synagogue -- they each have their own set of issues but definitely closer by far than any of the others. Even more so quite recently since more than 30,000 denominations past couple years reorganized quietly placing their denominations officially subordinate, sometimes against their own doctrines, to the Catholic church ironically setting in motion a big part of prophesy.

38:25 READ THE WHOLE BIBLE. It's long and not always easy, but take your time and read it thoroughly. Read it again, and again, and again...and again. Don't take snippets here and there, and only the passages you like, because message gets watered down that way.
NO NO NO, Just pray about it, read thru once, then pray again, then spend all that precious time sharing the gospel with everyone you can. Then enjoy those snippets here and there and the passages you like, because that waters your spirit and makes you strong.
