I'm torn on this one. While I do believe our prison system turns some people to violence. I also believe that this extraordinarily cruel man complaining about being treated cruelly is rich.

Some criminals are truly evil. They have no consideration for their many victims and could care less about the horrific pain and suffering they inflict much less care about the civil rights of anyone but their own once they get caught. Chapo and others like him get free food, medical, a place to sleep, protection from the elements and other murderous criminals like himself and above all gets to keep his life. All of these things he denied those whom he had tortured, brutalized and killed in the most horrendous ways. The question we should ask ourselves is, do people that purposely ignore and violate the rules of civil behavior deserve the rights that they deny their victims?
Poor, poor criminals. They need their privileges and a happy life. That’s why we need to treat them better than law abiding citizens.
