Yeah it annoys me when people talk shit about asmr because it’s different and it all weird because they’re tapping shit and whispering but it really helps me with what I call my low-key insomnia. This is your chance to make a living off what you like, and i'm trying to help you. Don't ask for subscribers, make AMAZING videos. ASMR today is like gaming in youtube's early years, fresh and nobodies land. Anybody can become big on ASMR today, you can't make an excuse that it's too crowded and there's no chance for small youtubers, this is YOUR chance! You won't need starting supporters if your video blows up and you get a ton of supporters! Go out there, make an amazing video while ASMR is at it's growing period, and you will surely make a living out of it.
Jervin Honestly, ASMR videos are made FOR the viewers, as are most other videos. You can still enjoy creating them, but truth is that it becomes far more enjoyable to do when it's somewhat rewarding when people actually watch the videos you create, lol. Of course that has to do with quality, but also with 'marketing' so to speak, because there are thousands of ASMR videos on the internet already. He just asked for some support - he's not forcing you to actually watch them if you don't want to! :)

As someone who struggles with sleep due to military service and has been recommended asmr videos for sleep. This works so amazingly for me where even medications fail to help. Thank you and keep up the fantastic work.

Suggestion. Make your videos darker so that the audience’s eyes are more relaxed. Lower the brightness with a video editor. Same idea as the nightview of some phone screens. Chances are they watch them in the dark before bed.

Yes you can adjust the brightness on your phone or computer, but my devices are still a bit bright even down AND with night shift on. So its nice and extra helpful as a viewer if the ASMRist made the video itself darker or put a filter.
She has a couple in black and white, which has the same effect.

I've only just started getting into ASMR, but it never fails to calm me down and put me in a good mood.
Especially tapping/scratching. I love the variety of different ASMR vids that Gibi does.
Shuffling cards always works best for me. That and whispers.

JustKat14 Actually it's not. Because the brain mistakes the blue leds on your phone display as daylight and it wakes you up, thus requiring you to be in darkness for several minutes before able to reach mental calmness.
