No band ever deserved this honor more. AC/DC IS rock 'n' roll.
ericynot they’re not that great
100$ if u get what they are saying in any song without checking out the lyrics
@FartManly I SECOND THAT! FUCK THE FUCK OFF!
They definitely deserved a better presenter than Steven Tyler though.
What a pain in the arse...
Thank you
Once you’re hooked on AC/DC you’re hooked for life!! For those about to rock we salute you AC/DC!!
True and I'm a 45 year old black woman with the three kids🎸💯🎹😎😁🎼💜
Yes .I have seen them many times but I wished I had seen the Great Bon Scott .
Jeff Cranford I was born (literally) Listening to AC/DC.
@@avamiah6286 me too but I was like five when he died. I didn't even like Prince way back then. My musical palette had yet to develop☔☔☔💜💜💜🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽
🍻
Thank you Steven Tyler. That was an induction speech worthy of AC/DC. Thank you for remembering Bon Scott. He is missed.
+Maureen Wagg I love Steven Tyler. He should definitely run a rock station, or write for a rock magazine, because he's great with words, and his personality matches the music. It's a lot like Alice Cooper's radio show.
Maureen Wagg
cbh bdfs,
Extra Kudos to Brain for introducing Bon's nephews and inviting them onstage to accept the award....
Maureen Wagg AC/DC are a band that will only be around once. But yes I would have never thought of a speech more than worthy of AC/DC like he did.
As an Australian, I can testify that every one of us would have understood what Steven read out.
Bloody oath
wtf did he say? im not Australian and would like to know.
@@charlesoffdensen8537 Go to an airport book a flight to Darwin, then you won't be making an Idiot statement.
Why not? There are such a big differences betwen the US and Aussie english?
My first language is not English and i understood him perfectly.
Without Bon Scott we all would not be watching this right now, Bon was an absolute legend..
❤ Bon Scott
Bonscot should be remembered as the greatest singer of all time
@@grantbaker1663 hes not. He may be your favourite singer, but there are people with stronger and better voices
@@marybolger4291 Steven Tyler for one
@@jamesagwe2981 No
This is the most well thought out & genuine induction speech in the history of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Except for the fact they play big full, open, heavy chords and not just power chords. Kind of makes me think Steven doesnt understand how a guitar works
It was great... But my vote is Tom Morello inducting KISS into the HoF...! It was electric
@@chiptrimble I agree! Tom's speech was the best, hands down!
@@chiptrimble but kiss sucks
i think he sounded like an arrogant condescending drug fucked wanker acdc are one of the great rock bands they are even more important then steven tyler
Steven really gave them the speech they deserve.
Rock n' Roll !!!
R.I.P. to 2 AC/DC legends Bon Scott and Malcolm Young.Long live the greatest rock band EVER.
Timeless
Steven did an outstanding job here. That dude is great himself. AC/DC is truly the Rockers of all Rockers. More than well deserved a place in the Rock Hall of Fame!!!
Congratulations AC/DC and Steven as well on a great induction!!!!
This is the best speech I've ever heard. Rock on!
Yes nice speech. Off the drugs I think. Saw him and Perry inducting Led Zepplin into the Hall of Fame. Off their faces.
It's good but not the best
If you're looking for a Best then take a look at the Metallica's Induction

Nope,not true.
The Toxic Twins were both sober then (1995).
I actually got choked up near the end, amazing inductee speech. Rock on AC/DC!
Possibly the best induction speech I've ever heard
Thank you Steve for acknowledging Bon...
Well hell when they were not getting the recognition they deserved he dropped dead and inspired them to create one of the greatest rock albums of all time. You could not ignore them after that.
WE SALUTE YOU Malcolm
wtf this comment was made before he past away.
Damb strait

Steven Tyler did a phenomenal job
Possibly the best induction speech ever
This was brilliant ❤ Rock royalty.
AC/DC is the shit and will always be the shit, they are damn legendary, and will go down in in history and always be in the good books. AC/DC we salute you. Malcolm and Bon will always be missed and never forgotten, may you rest in peace.
Only Steven Tyler could make a speech this cool and still pay tribute to one awesome band!!
Saw them in 1976 at the Villa Real, Mission, Texas, Rio Grande valley. South Texas. Long live Rock and Roll. AC/DC.
AC/DC was a gift to us all from the rock gods! They came out of nowhere, blew our minds and from day one we were hooked. I could never thank them enough for all the rockin weekend nights and the killer summer days blasting loud n proud. AC/DC we salute you!
One of the most energetic speeches ever.
This was a very well done induction speech by a very well respected rock and roll singer who is/was a PEER to AC/DC competed against them in the rock charts from the early 70's-onwards. Very few GREAT rock bands were so small in the 70's exploded like hell fire in the 80's then died back down but still had success in the 90's like AC/DC and Aerosmith. Two of a kind, Two great rock and roll bands. Tyler did well. Let there be rock!
AC/DC will absolutely be remembered for millennia to come....one of the purest forms of art
What a beautiful speech! Thank you, Steven!
I'm pretty sure that ACDC's songs will echo through the halls of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame forever
ACDC and Aerosmith are my favorite bands! I love you!!!

Really? What about today? 😊
Steven Tyler is such a wizard with words and attitude
Love acdc. Straight raw music, good rhythms, down to earth. No bullshit band. Legends
AC/DC deserved this honour they are the best rock band live I have ever seen in my life well deserved award 👍🎸🍺
Tyler a legend long ago in Rock and Roll gives an excellent speech and adds another MONSTER of a band,(putting it lightly) AC/DC into HOF! Seen AC/DC 4 times and they are simply outstanding! Angus is a god!
I don't think there is another band so universally loved and listened to by more people than AC/DC
1975 I was 4 yrs old..Wow.. dirty deeds was my very first rock album, I may of been 9 at the time .. I'm 46 now and still addicted ..
I'm 52 now and wish I were 46... I wore Back in Black out on 8 track 3 times. You would have been 5, Dirty Deed was released in 1976
steven tyler wearing a foreigner shirt while inducting ac/dc into the hall of fame? thats rock n roll heaven in my book
Do you think so now? 😊
I wish he would have mentioned Bonn in the beginning. I heard Highway to Hell a full year earlier, and that was always my favorite album by *AC/DC.*
Good job Steven :) I love you so much Steven
Wow!! Luv it!! Only steven Tyler could give a speech like that!!!
AC/DC is everything right with rock n' roll. and so deserved being inducted into the hall of fame
When you have the second biggest selling album of all time (Back In Black), you MUST be great...and they are. AC/DC forever.
From the first second I found them until death AC/DC keep me young
AC/DC 🤘🏽 The Soundtrack of my life 😎
hmm is it just me but I heard Steven Tyler said Ladies and Genitals??? at 4:42
He most certainly said genitals. Lol.
yo it's obvious you heard right. Did you listen to the bit about making soup out of your gf panties?
Ain't he just looove doing this thing, he said 'i don't wanna kiss your thing' instead of 'i don't wanna miss a thing' in an interview, so yeah.. 😂
Yeppers
it's just you, rio LOLOLOLOLOLOL
Steven nails it!
Steven Tyler gave an incredible speech and it was definitely worthy of a band like AC/DC and it sounds definitely awesome and heart felt ♥️ ❤️, Steven Tyler is really real and he's definitely unapologetic about what he says and how he feels🎉🎉
That was an awesome speech. And yeah, I too clench my fists every time I listen to Back In Black.
I LOVE THIS CLIP!! WELL SAID STEVE! WELL DONE ACDC! WE LOVE YOU!!! 😍🤘💖💋
What a cool induction, Steven!
It took me awhile, but then I really got them!! Love AC DC
Now that was fitting! I was one of those teenager's who rocked and dance to close to the fire and most definitely pissed off my neighbors. I don't think my panties were ever boiled but I don't know for sure of anything except that AC/DC will rock us into eternity! Everyone always says Rest in Peace, but AC/DC said Rock in Peace! I don't believe you rest in heaven anyway. There's no need for it. I do believe you can rock on in heaven and I'm positive that Bon and Malcolm are both rockin on! Great job Steven Tyler! I don't know who's kids those were in the crowd, but they sure were feeling cool! Good for them! That's something they'll always remember and talk about for years to come. Hell, it's 9 years later at this point so they're all grown up by now and I'll bet they've told this story many times already! Peace!
Give it time.
Tammie Parrish Miller they were my neighbours in Sydney. Mind bogglingly good and Angus was just 15, me 9. So good in fact the Police used to arrest anyone who complained about “the noise pollution”. 😉
AC/DC......WE SALUTE YOU !!!!!
Forever a fan!! My all time favorite band!!! Ever!!!
STEVEN, WHAT A GREAT INDUCTION FOR ONE OF THE GREATEST BANDS OUT THERE. 👏👍✌NO COULD HAVE DONE IT BETTER. THANK YOU. 👏🎸🎸🎹🎚🥁🔊🎵🎶🎼📀💿📻🎧🎙
AC/DC is the only rock 'n' roll band in history that successfully released the same album 18 times! Never any surprises when you pick up one of their LPs - you always know what you're gonna get. They found a formula that worked on their very first release back in 1975 and have stuck with it ever since to become one of the most successful, well known, and lets face it : one of the most kick ass rock 'n' roll bands on the planet for the past 45 years. Love 'em or hate 'em you cannot deny their longevity or success over that period of time. And to think when they were reaching near the pinnacle of their success in the USA after the Highway To Hell LP & subsequent tour, the tragic passing of original vocalist Bon Scott could very well have been a death knell for the band. But instead, they recruited new vocalist Brian Johnson from Scottish hard rock act Geordie and proceeded to release their most popular, best selling, & arguably their best overall LP in their entire discography: the monster slab of rock known as Back In Black. AC/DC are true rock legends who are still kicking as much ass today in late 2020 as they ever have even now after the passing of founding member & brother of lead guitarist Angus Malcom Young who has his input all over their latest LP Power Up. The epitome of power chord rock & a staple of my personal life playlist. There will never be another AC/DC. 45 years of three chord, blow the roof off power rock. HAILS!
They found their formula on their second Album T.N.T.
Best induction speech ever!!!!!😂😂🤘🤘🤘
Holy crap! That speech was incredible!!! Rock On!!
Remember kids, it's a long way to the top, if you want to rock'n'roll.
great dedication man
Thank you man for good words 😊
I've been trying to form a band with the spirit of ACDC for years.
The Rock and roll Hall of Fame finally became worthy of AC/DC
The most fun Rock and Roll band!
Amzaing songs!
Amazing music!
The first time I heard jail break in 70s I already knew they were destined for greatness. Bout time everyone caught up
Congradulations AC/DC Rock on you rockers you
always forever in my heart, raised my kids on this and now my granddaughter.
let all the American bands take notice.love from down under.AC-DC the best.
"Ladies and genitals?"
Bon Scott.. The greatest frontman ever
@David Heaton
Nope.
Steven Tyler is and always will be the greatest frontman...ever.
Ehem Freddie mercury
Robert Plant?
If Bon didn’t die it wouldn’t even be a question
David Heaton I would say Brian and Bon are tied, but Bon was truly ahead of his own time! And will always always be remembered.
ROCK ON!!!! I grew up to these guys..love AC/DC
The part about sledgehammered in the back of the head vocals best way to describe how Brian sounds.
Acdc the best band ever
@Heir apparent I think he was copying Jack black introducing led zeppilen, he meant no harm as lame as it waz
In my opinion Rush is the greatest band ever.
@@johnnycameron3201 talented and pearts lyrics always had a purpose and they made alot of sound for three guys , I actually like rush , top notch group, but I don't think close to ground breaking or greatest band in the world, but you probably don't think that my favorite band is the best , you do however have great taste in music
@Heir apparent That does not change the fact that Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band of all time. When it comes to pure techincal proficiency and talent no other band was as good as them.
What a speach.... well done Mr. Tyler... ✔
I've seen AC/DC 3x man , they are sick live .
Brilliant Steven Tyler! And bless Bon, born on my birthday!
These fucking people should give bon scott a standing ovation , without him there is no acdc hall of fame induction
YES,same Free, good rythmes, rock'n'roll voice & Angus.What'next?
Tyler does an awesome job.
Best induction given ever. Period.
Just came from the Howard Stern interview on YT. He quipped, "Hope STyer does a good job at the R & R introduction". WELL DONE! 🤘
remarkable induction speech Steven Tyler, no stop signs, speed limit, nobody's gonna slow me down
.........like a wheel, gonna spin it, nobody's gonna mess me around.
Steven was ballsy enough to tell the face of the music establishment that 3:26 …🖕⚡️
"middle finger to the establishment" LOLZ! The Young brothers were ruthless, savage businessmen.
I love that the inductors or R&R HOF are also rock legends. So much love in here. 🤘😝
ACDC the Bests band ever they rock all the time 💋 I love them so much come to Texas ,!
I, wish steven Tyler would be some type of host show because he speak'well
I remember back in 78’/79’ when AC/DC were doing tour dates with Aerosmith, Steven Tyler was at his lowest point in his addictions and AC/DC came out and saved so many shows, they absolutely made Aerosmith look so bad and yet carried the show all at the same time. Bon was such a showman! It makes total sense to me that the demon of screamin’ Steven Tyler inducted AC/DC. I’m sure that was the least he could do for a band that saved his bacon so many times so many years ago. R.I.P. Bon, damn it you are missed so very much!⚡️
Thank you so much
Gods of Rock and Roll!
Thank you for mentioning Bon Scott, HE IS SORELY MISSED.
"Ladies & Genitals" lol Steven is the Man!
Greatest most consistent rock band of all time 🙌
from one countries greatest rock band to another.
I still dont understand how Nirvana was inducted before Iron Maiden........
RattleheadCrow 9910 There’s lots of dumb people who don’t understand lots of things...
or public enemy ,for that matter.THEY R A RAP GROUP!..WTF
is this true ????????
Because Nirvana was Grunge and it was very new....Iron Maiden did rock/heavy metal, was already here. Imagine.....trying to induct Iron Maiden when the que is 100+, now imagine Inducting Nirvana when the que is but a few.
Splort McFooFoo I ask myself that same question often. Actually, I believe Cobain was extremely overrated as a musician. He couldn't sing, his guitar playing was atrocious. The only thing he did right was heroin. (Heroin was good for him, he poisoned music)
heard this and eminems run dmc, and this is purer and i love them both.
Steven is the best frontman in rock, and here you realize why!
I ditched pre school one day and rode my big wheel 2 miles to buy back in black!
Would this award also go to Bon Scott he did make the band
Yes, Bon was inducted as well and his nephews accepted the honor on his behalf
Cross Bones Bon joined a while after AC/DC formed

@@Aron-ru5zk
Correct....and after he died he was replaced and they continued with many albums & tours.
@@Aron-ru5zk bon was on the first recorded album. The first Aussie albums, I believe it was T.N.T. and High Voltage. They combined them to make the worldwide version of High Voltage.
One of my biggest regrets was getting rid of my Aussie vinyl versions. Had the Aussie Dirty Deeds vinyl, also. Regrets.
Bon Scott will always be my favorite vocalist for AC/DC. Mark had some damn good bass lines for the band. They just recorded a lot of songs in a short period of time.
Steven Aerosmith jams and your daughter is beautiful
Love Steve Tylers speech , it was awesome
They will be forever the best.
AC/DC What's up fellas
