    I've been thinking about making my own worktable for a long time.
    I wanted to create a table with more automated and progressive features than I've seen before.
    So I made the 'Kynosys Work Table'.
    It is always a difficult challenge that is close to adventure to compete by creating new works in areas where basic forms are assumed. I'm willing to jump into those adventures and create new things.
    In this work, I will show you a lot of new skills that you can refer to.
    The worktable is a basic workstation that is essential for all carpenters.
    A lot of people have made this in various forms.
    A clamp is used to hold the board by drilling a hole in the top plate, or a large vice is installed on the side to allow the large board to be secured.
    We sometimes have things on the top that are easy to use, like a plunger saw or a circular saw.
    The Kynosys Work Table, which I made with my nickname, fixes the boards in a very new way that you've never seen before. Using an air cylinder, the board can be held firmly without any force.
    Three vertical vise are installed only on the top plate so that the boards can be fixed in various directions. And the large vise on the side is made to be comfortable with the full plywood size and the very long parts. You'll be able to do a lot of different things in my future videos.
    Also, while installing the switch directly on the moving vise, I used a new method that didn't require any wires. I think I made this part for the first time in the world. It's a new technology that you'll be using a lot in the future. It's kind of an invention. But I'm willing to reveal it for you. I hope a lot of people can refer to this and make great works.
    Please pay attention to how to make the inner frame and how to make the bridge and the top plate and maintain the strength with only birch plywood in order to have the solidity of the top plate as I make the worktable. You'll see that plywood alone is enough to create a solid worktable.
    This is pretty important, and I think it's an opportunity to change the stereotype that a solid worktable should be made of hard timber. The idea of making a wooden worktable using large equipment has hindered many people from making it comfortable.
    I think it's been a kind of barrier to entry for people who are just starting woodworking.
    A total of five videos will be uploaded.
    1. The process of building a bridge and constructing the framework of the top plate
    2. The process of installing an air cylinder and installing an electrical device for its operation
    3. The process of finishing the vise on the top and making a large vise on the side
    4. A short video summarizing the whole process
    5. A pretty long video of the whole process
    This video is the first one.

    Since I started to watch this video, l smile around my head.
    A few weeks back, l started to make my first workbench/ workstation.
    Much smaller 800mmx400mm, tabletop.
    As I caught up one of those “lovely” (evil) degenerate neurological diseases,
    one of my goals in making the workbench, was a bit of automation to support my shaking body.
    Until now I thought I’m the only crazy person who equip a workbench with air-cylinders 😂.
    Instead of your top-vise, I designed it with a press and a downdraft part.
    I love your accurate way in all of your videos and I’m honestly jealous of your workshop size and all the tools.
    Jealous in a good way. 🙏🏻Thanks for sharing all this.🙏🏽
    How satisfied are you after the past months using the “beast”?

      I feel like I have met a comrade. A pneumatic cylinder on a worktable? I'm so happy that there's someone else who had the same thoughts as me. I understand those who stick to traditional methods. Of course, that method has its own great survival secrets. It would be a practical and convenient method. I am a person who twists that way. I enjoy creating prototypes, always thinking about and implementing new methods. So, I think there are some people who feel uncomfortable with my work. People tend to dislike change. Using my worktable, I am always inspired. Perhaps because I made them, the movements of the vices always excite me. The movement alone is so beautiful. This is also why I use this worktable as my main table. I think you can understand my feelings. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to those of you who understand my work and share similar thoughts. I hope you create a really cool worktable.

      Thank you for your words of praise. I usually make art without a blueprint. I often adjust the sizes while making them. However, there are many people who want blueprints of my works, so these days, I'm making blueprints by reverse-engineering already made works. I use a program called Solid Edge. Sooner or later, I'm going to upload the blueprints of my works. thank you!

    hello, is it possible to have references for pneumatic material ?

      Pour le cylindre pneumatique, un diamètre de 40 mm et une longueur de course de 200 mm ont été utilisés pour les trois étaux supérieurs. Pour l'étau sur le côté, un produit d'un diamètre de 50 mm et d'une longueur de course de 400 mm a été utilisé. Je prépare un plan détaillé pour cette table de travail. Je vais télécharger cette vidéo bientôt. merci!

    Looks like a great project, but its too difficult to watch what youre doing and try to stop and read the text. Hence why we need an audio nararation to make use of our hearing ability as well as visual.

    • @Kynosys_
      @Kynosys_  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I never thought I would eventually feel the language barrier. Because I am Korean, I cannot speak English like a native speaker. I can read and write, but conversation is difficult. This is a limitation of Eastern English education methods. I'm going to try my best, but I'm very sad about how many years it will take. I hope you understand. thank you!

    • @RoyatAvalonFarms
      @RoyatAvalonFarms Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@Kynosys_ yes, I do understand this barrier. It would be no different if I tried to speak Korean. At least you can read and write in my language. I cannot say the same about your language.
      And forgive me, as I didnt mean to criticize you. It was merely an observation which makes it difficult to communicate across our cultures without a spoken audio. Unfortunately I even see many American videos where the poster uses text instead of spoken English, of which they actually speak, yet are not comfortable speaking on camera. It is just as difficult for me to read their written narration instead of spoken.
      I wish you the best in your future on CZcams. Thank you.

    • @Kynosys_
      @Kynosys_  Před 4 měsíci +1

      When I said I felt a language barrier, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. This is what I said to myself for neglecting English, which is widely used by citizens around the world. Regarding the problem you mentioned, I am working on an AI program that has learned my voice. Technology has advanced so that my voice is pronounced quite similar to mine in English. This issue is an important one that needs to be addressed. I hope more people can watch the video comfortably. Thank you very much for your sincere writing.
