@@mutomboinprogress 😂😂😂😂😂. Ya, I used to have leather chairs years ago but disliked them for that reason. It was sticky when you sat on it for a long time. Not as fun to lounge on. But you’re right, it might keep the couch potatoes away! 😂😂😂

Ahh my house tour days are over. It made me so uncomfortable when a friend came to my apartment for the first time (my previous apartment with my sister) and instantly knew where everything was. 😅 I also need to be more considerate of the other people I live with who did not choose to share their lives online 🤗.
Don’t worry though, will keep bringing you along on little home transformations here and there
For someone who does a lot of editing, you should have two screens in addition to your laptop. Screens are to be independent as It will you to have more space and to easily toggle from one screen to another and to easily do your work.
I don't mind having 10 screens haha. We used to work with multiple screens at my first job. Forgot how convenient it was.
The chairs are so beautiful and spacious. I love how you are transforming the bachelor pad one episode at a time😅

It was a brilliant idea to put them at the back of the desk. It just lights up the space and gives it this inviting look, like "come work" . Lovely!

Thank you Manks. Any quincaillerie which also sells bulbs will likely have it. I’ve seen these LEDs around. But specifically for me, I got mine from one of those light shops around Carrefour Macon Bonamoussadi. When you look into the shop, you see lights, bulbs, locks & canons, light fixtures… that sort of thing.

Anyways, I live in Douala with my family. As a matter of fact, I was born in Douala and have lived here for the most part of my life. The first time I really left Douala was when I was leaving for Saint Bede's College Ashing-Kom (North West) in Form 1.

Apples for R150 zar 😮 why so expensive
We don’t grow apples in Cameroon - we don’t have the climate for it so they are imported, hence more expensive.
It’s actually my time in South Africa that made me fall in love with those particular Granny Smith apples and those are the expensive ones here 😂😂

Yeahhh, those particular apples (they’re called Granny Smiths) have gotten so expensive! They’re different and crunchier than the other apples we see around (those ones are called Golden Apples).

We don’t have the climate for it so all our apples are imported and tend to be expensive esp those darn green Granny Smiths. 🍏🍏 Same with the yellow and red bell peppers. They don’t grow here, only the green, so they tend to be expensive here.
I had the same reaction when I saw 1 avocado being sold at PnP for ZAR19… ZAR14 when it was in season. The price was ridiculous for me because here in Cameroon, it usually goes for about 5 - 6 rands. That’s when I understood what was so special about avocado toast coz my friends used to talk about how they would ‘treat themselves’ to an avocado toast for breakfast and I was like, “What do you mean treat?” Hahaha

At my higher thinking level, I’m hearing your explanation on the import tax for apples 🍏 but my basic thought process is just like “There is absolutely NO reason on earth why apples 🍏 should be that expensive”! But I suppose for me it’s also because they’re bland and boring and don’t deserve to be pricey for that reason. But I completely get your comparison to avocado 🥑 prices in South Africa. Avocados 🥑 are RIDICULOUSLY expensive in South Africa!
