So excited to share my new crafting space with you today.
It has been a long process and evolved over a few years. It has finally come together and so I thought I would share that with you.
There is a fair amount of moving about with the camera, as I am filming it free hand. I have tried my best to cut out the worst of it, but a lot of it is unavoidable.

I had to giggle a wee bit when you showed the recycled things, as I've followed your wise counsel and have a sizable basket of envelopes, acetate, and collapsed box bits as well. Dear Roberta, I just loved reading your message. Gosh, I would love to live down the street from you. How amazing would that be. So lovely to hear that my influence has reached you in Far West Texas! That is a long way away from me. I do love to repurpose the packaging and I have trimmed it all down to working size, so that it only fills up that one container. Your practical and inviting craft space is inspiring and calming. It is a perfect example of how someone can take a not so huge room and use planning and organizational skills and create a truly functional and productive working retreat. Love the soft colors and lack of clutter. The fact that you have pared down the excess of supplies has led to a relaxed spirit which encourages and promotes productivity. Your tour has reminded me to downsize the clutter and put the "smalls" out of sight yet keeping them close by whenever possible. Thank you for the craft room spirit renewal. What a wonderful tour of your beautiful crafting room that is clean and tidy ~ to make it inviting and your happy place to relax, have peace and create. Thank you for sharing, and I got some great ideas of how to set up storage for different items, tools, supplies of many, and great ways to culminate things together that makes sense and easy access. I too have some recycled envelopes, packaging, and other recycled items that need to be placed in their own special box like everything else~ it is what we use for our journaling creations and crafting. Very nice tour and easy to follow along. Here’s to being organized and productive in our creative endeavors!!

Carpet?...what carpet? There are too many luvly things to see in your studio. 😄 What a wonderful selection of creative goods you have Angela and such a well planned and organised space you have created for yourself. I absolutely love it. 😍 A huge bonus is the lovely big window, the view and natural light. I think this creativity space would be many a creative's dream and happy space❣️

Aww thank you so much dear Donna! To be honest, I think organisation came about due to necessity. I just don't have time to tidy up or look for things. This way, it takes me literally 5 minutes to pack up and tidy up and everything has a place. I just have to hoover the carpet 1 per week. Haha!

Thank you, dear Lorraine. I will most definitely do another tour in the future, when all is completed. I have a few more things to do. My feathered friends, also have a mischief of field mice as neighbours and the whole scene is delightful to behold. They are all fed daily and I watch their scamperings with awe. Animals are amazing. They have not emerged for Spring yet, but we have just had very cold weather. I look forward to seeing the new arrivals. Sending hugs and smiles xxx

On the organisation side, it really is because I am so busy. Just no time to wonder or look for things. This way it is where I put it, LOL.

@@AngelaKerrDesigns Thank you for the hug, I can surely use it. We had to say goodbye to my 2 furbabies. Our Charlie had Kidney disease, late stage and had become very weak and our Cheddar developed liver disease and only had days before he would get real bad. They were brothers and we had these sweet kitties for 15 years. We were expecting Charlie’s passing but Cheddar took us by surprise. We let them go together last Thursday, can’t believe it’s been a week.. I’ve been so lost so your videos have been a wonderful distraction for me 💜

You have the most organized and neat space i have seen. My craft areas are challenging. I have two, a desk and various tables and plastic drawers. I have a desk in my bedroom, too. It's covered up with current projects

Thank you for the tour of your craft room. I have just ordered and put into place some IKEA units…I am so excited to organize it now. I have been following yourself now for a couple of months which I so enjoy seeing your projects. My husband passed away last August so I now have time to spend in my happy place (craft room). I used to live in West Sussex but moved to Canada in 2004 when my daughter & husband wanted to come to Nova Scotia. Do you post your goodies, ribbons, flowers etc to Canada?? wonderfully organized. I particularly appreciate your Work In Progress shelf with baskets, and your portable tool totes. Keeps your desk so tidy! One suggestion: you might hang up some of your beautiful hand made ephemera (maybe on a bunting strip) - as changeable decor and celebration of your work.

I need to find the bits to attach my peg board. 😂 it has great trays, clips and my bunting attaches to it. Great for displaying my favourite pieces.

One thing I do need is that organisation of the tools for the desk. I had a look trying to find them. I think it might be IKEA. I’m not sure.

OMG!!!! Angela, I know I haven't been around for a while, but when I saw this I just had to pop over and see your craft room. You have done an excellent job in organizing everything. Love the way you have a lot of containers. That's what I love to do as well, but my space is very very limited. But I am trying to organize more during these winter months. Still snow on the ground and only in 30's or so (US). Beautiful craft area you have. Be well, be safe & TYFS

Oh how I wish I could be organized! I craft in my bedroom and I just don't have the space for shelves and such. It would be much more inspiring if I could readily find just what I was wanting! I did order a caddy like yours to put my scissors, glue and things. That will clear more of my small desk. Thank you for sharing😍

Wow it looks like you moved your craft room but I guess what you did was completely empty it out and redid it with Ikea furniture. I especially love those Blueish green trays you have can you share where you purchased them from. They look like they're at least the size of a letter size piece of paper or maybe just a tad larger. But I love the depth of them and that you can stack them. It's amazing how much stuff one can accrue in just 4 years isn't it? Your room is beautiful and really well done. Maybe someday I can replace all the different storge things I have (dressers and file cabinets) in my room to something like what you have.
We are missing those too.

Angela, I bought a turn table and round piece of balsam wood on top. When using your switch you can turn it and it comes out back and return to front. Takes less room . Works well. Got at dollar store my turntable. May help u too. Lov always, Lin (da).
