Judge a dealer not when things have gone by the numbers, but by how they deal with your issue. Glad it was all sorted.

I Yi Yi, Paul! You might think about getting rid of that thing and getting on to a Triumph. Over here in the States we have “Lemon Laws” where if a new vehicle becomes problematic you get a refund!

Hopefully they have now got your bike sorted but it just reaffirms my view that these bikes are now too complicated even with all their fancy diagnostics and stuff it still takes an element of luck and one technician just taking a chance on swapping tanks. Fingers crossed that's it now and you have trouble free riding from now on.

@paulneedhamn Couldn't agree more, unless you know the area really well the 20mph restrictions and the average speed cameras make it far less enjoyable. (I rarely exceed the speed limits on my Honda 500 but I find I'm 'glued' to the speedo instead of watching the road.)
Maybe (just sayin...) we should all boycott the place and see what happens to the tourist trade.?
On my Nt1100 dct the fuel gauge keeps flashing even when full of fuel. Honda have had my bike 6 days and still not fixed.
Sorry to hear that, pal. Mine started with that issue. The screen would only show rev counter and red on fuel gauge. That's when all the starting issues first appeared.
My understanding from what the dealership told me is that Honda UK keeps a database of all warranty faults and potential fixes. All dealerships have access to this, so the master technician should be able to view possible causes.

Isn`t it daft you have a bike with 2 displays and you need to fit a 3rd one ? Lot`s of others make do with one(1) display, isn`t that the point of TFT?

@4.18.2Mr.D I had the same issue, and solution was change the fuel pump, solve the issue for me. But a had a big dispute with the shop because they said that the bike didn't shown the issue while was there for one month, but after one month they change the pump and for now issue solved, mine is from september 2023 bike, and manual trasnmission with quickshift

So far, it's been fine. If you've only had it 3 days, I'd take it back to the dealer. The main issue was BCU & Fuel pump.

And what happend without the gears? what problem you had?
Mine go to the shop tomorow but they said that didnt find anything last week when I take the bike for service..
It's been ok up to now. Tell the dealer to contact Smiths Honda. They've had a few bikes in with starting issues.
@@paulgriffiths6404 thanks for the help, I'm from portugal, and today I left my bike in the shop, they say that never had one NT1100 with this issues... I explain and showed your video, and explain what yout shop did to your bike and now
I'm waiting for news about the situation, and what the workshop will do to my bike.
I'm hopping to sold the issues bikes turns off and the quickshift failing.
I trade in my f850GSA because was giving me issues, and now bought a bike with issues, hope to solve this.
At least I have 5 years warranty

Unfortunately, this motorcycle has many flaws. I know what I'm writing because I've already experienced a lot, and I've only earned 3,000 kilometers. Problems with the fuel tank are unfortunately just a minor thing. I love riding this motorcycle, despite everything.
Agree, I've also had many more issues earlier, which is not in this video. Started swith gear replaced as well, software updates. Large screen freezing to name a few.
@@paulgriffiths6404I'm riding my NT1100 14 now months and 27,000 km with zero issues. Changed tires and added an aftermarket rear shock. The bike has been bulletproof. 🙏

I’m a big Honda fan, last two bikes were Honda’s. My current bike is an NC750X DCT and my previous bike was an NT700 which was why I started following your channel. Hope it finally gets fixed bud

Not sure what's going on with Honda at the minute ...just wondering if you ever regret selling the Deauville 700....never heard a single complaint from you about that bike...ever since you sold it you've had nothing but greif...just sayin....
