My guy was such a gentleman. He would just sit in my doorway and stare at me. Never meowed, never came onto the bed. He would just and stare at me till I woke up. When I acknowledged him with a “good morning” he would meow, turn around and walk towards the kitchen. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I got my Smirnoff at a year old. I believe he wasn’t overly socialized. His previous owner did say that he was kept in the basement. 😢😢😢😢😢
He loved belly rubs and brushing. The only time he came onto the bed with me was a few years back when I was going through a stressful time. I was crying and he jumped up on the bed came next to me and put his paw on my hand!!!! I couldn’t believe it. Consoling me. 😻😻😻😻😻😻😻

My mom used to wake me up for school every morning by letting my cat in my room. She knew I couldnt resist his meowing without picking him up and giving him cuddles.
These were so awesome to watch. Cats rock. Plain and simple. Kittens playing on you is crazy time. I have had a kitten in 15 years. All old babies. Just as special though.

My boy wakes me up every morning between 6:44 and 6:48 AM, at night at 11:15, he lays on my bed and cries for me to go to bed

My much loved cat had 13 ways to wake me up. In the end I shut the bedroom door. When I woke up and opened it, special darling had pulled a heap of books out of the book case right in front of my door. I had to pick them up to be able to move down the hall. His Highness had to wait for his breakfast a bit longer while I picked up books. He must have worked this out as he didn’t do it again. The most aggravating wake up was clawing a mirror and banging it on the wall. Think of fingernails on a chalkboard. The next was, swiping everything of the dresser beside the bed, onto my head. Do I miss this cat, yes!

My cat never wants to get up. Every morning I have to negotiate getting out of bed, as she's usually cuddled up. Then she follow me to bathroom and sit there all sleep eyed while I wash. On days off she loves nothing more than just cuddling and sleeping all morning.
Probably helps she's never hungry, her bowl is always full of dry food so she can graze whenever she wants

Yep. right around 5:30am. We had 4, but it was always Pongo, who was clearly the leader, would jump on my chest and use his whiskers to annoy me. Never my wife, just me, and I actually started off hating cats, but he won me over.

The rule in my house is if you can see any of the bottom of the bowl of the food dish it is panic time and you must get up. It doesn't matter if its midnight, or 3 am. Its not worth the risk of the bowl being completely empty.

I had a cat who would wake me up in the morning, but I started keeping a squirt bottle next to the bed, and stopped that behavior, but for a while after he stopped, I would wake up to him sitting there staring at me! And he wanted attention more than food, because his bowl was always full thanks to the automatic feeder.

When I was married I had two stepcats. My wife complained that they kept waking her up. I pointed out that the first thing she does after getting out of bed is feed them...
All too aware that me and Mr. KittyGato sleep at different hours. From headbutting, whiskers tickling after stepping on my hair and pillow, to outright meowing in my ear, till I would lay flat and stroke him till he laid his head down listening to my heart beat and beginning to purr as we both dose off together. Too aware, I miss him, he was a gentleman among cats.

Cats are very punctual for his breakfast and will wake you up almost at the same time every morning for it and indirectly wake you up for school or work, the only problem is on weekends when you still have to wake up to feed him 😆😅🤣
My ragdoll wakes me same time everyday, occasionally too early. He jumps over my head and goes down the bed & comes from the other direction. Over and over my face/ head. After his breakfast, it's window sill to watch the world go by. Once he has enough, back to his bed to curl up for his lie in. Me, ahhh well, can't go back to sleep. ❤😂😅

So my cat has 3 wake up methods: 1) stand on my chest with all his weight on the paw on my sternum, 2) putting his (sharp) whiskers on my nose, & if those fail then he just wipes his butt across my nose. Pray your cat doesn’t do this!
