A Walk around Nuneaton in 2004

  • Following on from the previous video, I embarked on a walking tour around the town centre photographing along the way. There were a great number of changes taking place at the time which included the rundown and eventual closure of 'Queens Arcade' and a town centre popular pub that everyone I'm sure will remember. Again, the photographs are shown in roughly the same order as they were originally taken. The walk concludes with a return to the town centreand finishes as Lower Abbey Street.

    Queens arcade....used to walk through there so many times after work.....sometimes 2 in the morning...great videos.

      I didn't realise ropewalk wasn't built then, I remember being under 5 in my pushchair going through it 😂

    By the looks of all the boarded up shops/Merevale pub in the Queens Arcade it’s just before the construction of the Ropewalk.
