Seem to remember 5000 squeezed into Bedworth's ground for first local Derby match v Nuneaton Borough in many years. Later that same season the crowd was I believe about 200 in Nuneaton. This was in either the 1981/1982 season or perhaps 1982/1983. I was a Coventry student at that time.
In the town scene at the end forgotten all about the flower boxes and benches which were removed when the road through town was taken out but I was only small. Bedworth still has a few I believe.

it was actually 1982 but Bedworth gives the impression of being 5 years behind the rest of the Midlands!
