Mulligans is the best we stayed in greenfield in November 2023 and April 2022 fantastic location and good accommodation with breakfast, would highly recommend.
Hi Kevin. The Melly Blue below Flannigans used to be Red Onion restaurantt. It closed when covid hit and was shut until last year when Melly Blue opened. Also, i see you said you're staying at Servarur Waikiki. We stayed there first ever Canary island trip back in 2009 when it was owned by Riu. Enjoying your Gran Canaria vids.
Kev, I was there in '91 and '95. Stayed in the Greenfield on both occasions. I was 21 and then 25. Be the looks of the place not much has changed, always a bit ropey and fairly barren of real quality pubs/restaurants. Where Flanagans is now you used to have the Irish Jockey, the Randy Leprechaun and the Hawaian Tasca. A haven for my fellow Irish folk but rough as hell, get out of there safely! Nice upload as ever, keep up the great work. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
That brings me back to my youth had many drinks in most of those bars well different names back then ,irish jocky ,harp bar shamrock etc cheers Caoimhin
@@patrickmoran4171 i have to say the same, i was also a good boozer....lol Its curious to see that there are more irish pubs in Spain than in Ireland (NI included)
Never been to Gran Canaria and honestly dont know if i would like it. PDI dont like the look of and Puerto Rica looks very hilly. Maspalomas and Puerto Mogan looks nice. Are they quite flat (dont go on holiday to climb hills) and which did you prefer.
Kevin big, BIG plus PDI doesn't have Cardiac Hills everywhere, unlike Tenerife 😂😂 Personally I still prefer GC over Tenerife. I'm surprised at the increase in popularity of the Meloneras area, as you are too. It's just a bit far to walk all the time and needs a taxi or bus to get back to PdI My own POV naturally 😂 Cheers DougT
To be honest, people don't seem to walk around the streets unless from the hotel to a commercial centre, Yumbo for example. Never seen a place where people use taxis to go short distances so much, maybe that's a warning about the streets or the laziness of the Brits, ha. Never find walking around there a problem to be honest.
we stayed in the Gran Caneria Princess wich is a nice hotel but that resort its a never again Kev its a dodgy place with dodgy characters its a toilet end of mate
Puerto Mogan is beautiful too
