  • Hey guys in todays video you will get to know how we landed/migrated to Australia from India, as a permanent resident (PR).
    We have shared our emotional PR Story. The journey was difficult.
    Sorry about getting emotional in between :(
    It was really hard for us, facing so many challenges and at the same time having so much patience since 2017 end; when we started to think about moving out of our country India, for the best in Australia

      PR isn't easy to get in Australia. The Australian government is limiting these visa grants. You can study or work in Australia for 10 years on skilled migration visa if you was founded applicable for the conditions. They can still reject you on a PR visa Based on limitations set allowed. Hi Artee, congratulations on getting Australian permanent residency and welcome to Sydney. I am an Australian Citizen and could relate to the struggle in moving to Australia, that too in a pandemic. Must have been hard. Here is a different perspective to look at to feel much better and how fortunate you guys are as compared to an onshore applicant. A guy moves on a student visa paying around 70 lakhs indian rupees to study. Stays in Australia for about 4 years away from family missing out on majority of the festivals, doing odd jobs while studying ridiculously hard in hope that he will get PR one day. Also, not to forget, parents back home continuously staying in touch in hope of getting good news of getting PR since they have invested a fortune on studies. The guy finally files the PR and waits a long time and finally gets it. Getting PR as an offshore applicant is far more easier than an onshore applicant. You guys had jobs that would help in PR process. Here finding a field job while on student visa is like near to impossible. Government only allows 20 hrs per week work.
    I hope this helps and makes you feel better that how lucky you guys have been. All the best for future. Would definitely say hi if we meet in Sydney. Once again, Congratulations.

    • @ArteeVlogs
      @ArteeVlogs  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Aadi.
      Thanks for the wishes. I do agree that International students have to face challenges while they are studying here but student visa and PR are 2 different aspects. However, most of the students do go for PR after studies which is a good move but student visa doesn't guarantee a PR as it is totally for completion of studies with certain visa requirements and work conditions. Yes, the challenges are more if you want to meet your finances and find ways to meet that and try for PR after completing your studies. My husband did try for a student visa some years back but didn't proceed due to exorbitant cost and uncertainty of PR pathway. We had a very good life back in our home country, were well settled, decent pay job, family life etc. It wasn't an easy decision for us as we had so many plans on hold due to this process and the outcome. I haven't shared everything here. We too had to make a tough choice of leaving our family, job and start from scratch over here. Moreover, I wouldn't say that we were lucky as we did work hard for it and went through lot of challenges to get the grant.
      I do understand the challenges faced by student. However, there are difficulties on both sides which are tough to weigh and compare.
      Would be great to catch up if we cross ways.
      Tc and stay safe.

    Hello and I happen to follow some of your posts. It’s truly frustrating to wait for 189 and I got it finally after you know…. Take a guess…..17 months for receiving invitation and 9 months to receive visa. Totally 2.5 years from the day I decided to apply for Australia. No wonder this country is so laid back. I applied when I was 43 years age and now I am very close to 46. Just in time last minute I boarded the bus like in India you see how people run and catch the bus and stand at footboard. I mean 45 is the cutoff age and I pretty much applied and forgot. One day I was surprised to get invite and it completely disoriented me like you. Now we have good flights and rules are relaxed also. Thanks for your vlogs and hope to see you sometime. 🙏.

    • @ArteeVlogs
      @ArteeVlogs  Před 3 lety +1

      If you get the invitation and you have a secondary applicant, then both will get PR if you prove all the points claimed after your Visa lodgement. Guys thank you showing the reality. Finally someone is showing the reality to us. I have few questions as I’m unsure about this.
    1. When I apply visa for myself and attach my partner’s information. Do I have to make the payment for both of us?
    2. What will happen when we get pregnant or even delivers a baby during the process? Do we have to redo the whole process?

    • @ArteeVlogs
      @ArteeVlogs  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks Reeya,
      1. The payment will be based on the number of applicants in the visa application.
      2. If you get pregnant before grant, you may inform CO and add baby to the application. If it's after grant then I guess you need to lodge the baby's visa. Please cross check this.

    PR isn't easy to get in Australia. The Australian government is limiting these visa grants. You can study or work in Australia for 10 years on skilled migration visa if you was founded applicable for the conditions. They can still reject you on a PR visa Based on limitations set allowed. Australia don't give PR for everyone
