Following Six simple physiological parameters form the basis of the scoring system:
respiration rate
oxygen saturation
systolic blood pressure
pulse rate
level of consciousness or new confusion*
temperature.
Scores & interpretation
A score of 0, 1, 2 or 3 is allocated to each parameter as they are measured and aggregated....., and the magnitude of the score reflects how extreme the parameter varies from the norm.
A higher score means the parameter is further from the normal range.
