What would we do if the patient is on treatment (E.g beta-blockers) which would contribute to a score? Would we change the parameters of the vital signs in this case or would we take this factor into consideration?
No, the observations are just what they are, observations. For sur we would take all factors into account. Remember the tool is only an aid, never a substitute for clinical assessment and diagnosis.
