Pete, there are a lot of hacks out there that have no idea or couldn't care less about fixing a tractor correctly. They slap a paint job on it and try to sell it as "Fully Restored". Polishing a pig, unfortunately its still a pig. You on the other hand took an old tractor completely apart, piece by piece went through it all, fixed and restored it the "Right Way". I am a professional mechanic, and I it makes me very proud to see someone such as yourself bring back an old machine to greatness. You are the definition of a "Real Mechanic". Congratulations on your masterpiece.

My hours of enjoyment watching your videos has to be small in comparison too the hours of time spent producing and editing. But please understand how much enjoyment you provide to a retired individual who was a jack of all trades.
I grew up on a farm, learned mechanis from a retired mechanic. My other skills were printing, Truck driver, and I retired from construction after 27 years as a traveling Superintendent, I worked with many great Architects, building Hotels, Court House's,

Pete. I am an 82 tear old agriculturalist. A degree in Horticulture, taught at an ag school for over 20 years and cut my teeth on a new 1955 Formal cub and still love them even today, especially the whine sound they made. I know you may never restore your cub as there is no real use for it on your farm, but I would love to see it. I check every morning as I eat my breakfast to see if you have posted a new video. Those red tractors are better than new and I can see your pride in your work on them just oozing from your pores! I love all your videos, market animal, tractors and all. You are the best!!! Dave

I love it when I see happy cows. That generally happens when they get a new field or new bedding. Now I got to see a happy farmer! All it takes is finishing a tractor! Great to see you laughing and enjoying yourself.
Get yourself a GP relay off of something like a 1986 Ford truck. Hide it somewhere and use the wimpy one that fits the tractor as a trigger for the relay. It will still look stock.
My husband and I love you channel. He's a farm boy from Ohio and I'm a suburban girl who loved riding the H on his father's farm. Today, Dan came home with a coffee cup with an IH tractor on one side and a red barn on the other, so, in honor of you, he's got a new coffee cup! Enjoyed the nut and bolt restoration of old tractors. It contrasts well with what we call a not well-organized and not meticulous run country/economy to the meticulous assembly, replacement, and repair of the Farmall Super C. Some people just have that needed talent.

That's a very fine Super C you have there Pete!
Awesome job on the super C Pete. I've been a mechanic as a profession for over 35 years, mostly working on tractor trailers and HD diesel. My saying is if I ever stop learning I must be dead, so get me in the ground before I stink lol. I finished my 1956 300 torque amplifier abatement job the summer before last and it's holding strong. I ended up doing a full bearing seal replacement on the entire drive train because of how deep the TA job takes you. Costs were a wife scowling moment but we made it lol. I thoroughly enjoyed the simplicity of these old tractors. Labor of love for sure.

I love the tractor rebuilds. I will never own one, I will never work on one. But you can tell the love you have working on them and restoring them just by watching the video's. The rebuild video's tend to be more serious, but you always toss in a little humor, dont stop, it sets you apart from other channels. Keep making video's and I will keep on watching. :)

Taking off the muffler to get in and out of the garage reminds me of my grandpa's tractor shed. The door was too short to drive in with the muffler on his H's and they had the narrow front wheels like your Super C. So, he trenched a narrow ditch out of the dirt floor - deep enough to get the front wheels lower so that the mufflers would clear the doorway. Of course, it was easy for him to drive in and out, but not so much for this 12-year-old. The Super C looks great.
