exactly, i believe that the absolutely massive street legal tanks on tires are dangerous to people outside of a car/in a smaller car
Trains (or Trams), passenger and freight are absolutely viable on small Islands. The only true reason they aren't is that roads and road transport is highly subsidised while rail usually isn't.
Depending on where populations and local industry are located in relation to each other even very small populations can make a rail newtork viable.
