He owed you nothing. You should first explain how Nzeogu and other eastern officers killed northern and western spiritual, military and political leaders and tipped off the eastern politician and military officers, while Ironsi (coup beneficiary) refused to hold the cupist accountable. He was able to see through the mask of the eastern officers and figured out the real reason and those behind the coup

@@seyio4011They did their coup and Ironsi was killed under his watch. It is a known fact that Nzeogwu did not act under Ironsi instruction on that coup. That is not even the case. A Yoruba Brigadier named Babafemi Ogundipe was next in line on the rank of command. Why didn't they handover to him if its about hierarchy of command to restore order?, why a Lt.Col. Gowan who was 2 ranks below? Or did Brig Ogundipe also killed their leaders with Nzeogwu in th north and in the west? by sidelining him is that also just. Surely Danjuma will still answer to his evil before his Maker. Even now that he is still alive right before his nose are the Fulani not taken over his people and their land and committing genocide on them, is that not a shame on him? He try to voice out in protest, the army said there is nothing like that. He was asked to shut up or the Fulani will wipe him out even in his old age. The same Fulani he fought to put in power over Nigeria perpetually.

Yea, there is no mention of the late General Ironsi, Chief of State, and Ironsi's associate Col. Fajuyi, who took his bullets, even as he Ironsi and Fajuyi were right, as they affirmed to him on the point of Major Danjuma's gun, to death. He deviated from mentioning that. Where did a government senior military officer General Danjuma, get the money, to lanuch all his businesses at once? Those two points are the questions of his life. But the brutal civil against Easterners and the Igbos, as he mentioned an Igbo's mentor and the plundering of Nigeria started with them. General Danjuma as a Christian almost an old man has not apologize for that brutal war, the disappearance of Ironsi, the man who promoted him in the army and that of Col. Fajuyi, the former Governor of the defunct Western Region. He has not confess the sins of his youth.

The interviewer must have sent the questions to him first for vetting and they would have removed such questions about what happened to the Head of State on that unfaithful day in July 1966

Both Him and Gowon are probably kept alive by God to help reconcile Nigeria and put it in the path of reconciliation and healing by simply apologising for the mutiny of July 1966.
As long as we live in deception and call a mutiny , counter coup the grief and bitterness of yesteryears cannot be appeased.

No eastern soldiers or politician was killed. Azikiwe mysteriously got hint of the plan and escaped overseas. This resulted in civil war. If any section of the country killed eastern leaders and allowed their own people to escape, the east would have done the same and justifiably.

What about the lives of the northern and western officers, spiritual and political leaders that the eastern officers selectively took away? Danjuma partly avenged those deaths. You dont kill people from other sections of the country and tip off those from the east to hide or run out of the country with impunity.

I use to respect him but not anymore, until he atone himself on his part in the killing Ironsi and Fajuyi. As far I'm concerned he has a lot of blood in his hand. I was 7 years old, when the body of Ironsi was brought back to Umuahia by train we all ran to wave at the train as it pass by, i still remember that day as if it was yesterday.
