Yea, there is no mention of the late General Ironsi, Chief of State, and Ironsi's associate Col. General Danjuma as a Christian almost an old man has not apologize for that brutal war, the disappearance of Ironsi, the man who promoted him in the army and that of Col. The interviewer must have sent the questions to him first for vetting and they would have removed such questions about what happened to the Head of State on that unfaithful day in July 1966
Both Him and Gowon are probably kept alive by God to help reconcile Nigeria and put it in the path of reconciliation and healing by simply apologising for the mutiny of July 1966. As long as we live in deception and call a mutiny , counter coup the grief and bitterness of yesteryears cannot be appeased.
Danjuma avenged the death of the northern and western soldiers, politicaland spiritual leaders that Nzeogu in cohort with Ironsi hacked down. Ironsi refused to bring them to justice and was going to free them as national heros.
No eastern soldiers or politician was killed. Azikiwe mysteriously got hint of the plan and escaped overseas. This resulted in civil war. If any section of the country killed eastern leaders and allowed their own people to escape, the east would have done the same and justifiably.
