The Battle Begins (also known as The Battle has Begun) is a bulgarian patriotic song made/about the 1877-1878 Russo-Turkish War where many Bulgarians fought alongside the Russians in the Bulgarian Volunteer Corps, the song gained popularity within Bulgaria and continued to be used after 1878 (this is why I put images and the map of Bulgaria during the First Balkan War).

Even tho we were enemies at this time and the Bulgarians burnt my grandmothers village down, but I still love Bulgaria after all the wars we had for centuries

The sentiment is similar, cool history but I like the position we have today. I like to see people agree frm both sides that mistakes were made. Half of my family is from Macedonia but moved after WW2, luckly or not from the region that has too much brain damage.

@@vasil.kamdzhalovmy grandmother was born in Bulgaria but had to flee from the Bulgarians during the Second World War, but luckily she and her family escaped to Greece.
