I would have just cleaned off that whole book case. Those were some great vintage books and pamphlets. What a great score. The treasure hunter strikes again.
Yeah, I pretty much cleared out the bookshelf. The only stuff I left behind was stuff that was damaged or not worth much. Maybe a few stragglers here and there.
That's why I love selling on eBay. All of a sudden...I'm in the magic business now!

Everytime you added another book to your box I keep thinking about how your going to carry all those boxes down those spiral stairs and out to your car. I was surprised you only paid $100, I expected an easy $300, you rock!!!
Fortunately I was already down the spiral staircases when I found those books. That would have been very difficult for sure. Yes, I was absolutely thrilled at the price.

That's an interesting sale. My best friend growing up was really into magic. His whole family was. They did big productions locally in New Orleans. People who are into magic are REALLY into magic. All that stuff will sell. You're gonna clean up. :)

What a great haul - and a bonus Daisy sighting at the end! I’m excited to see you get this all listed. When you get a haul like this and it’s all very similar, or at least the audience would be smaller - do you try to list it all close together or do you list it when you have time? What’s the strategy?
I give priority to anything that people request to see it on the video. So for example, someone expressed interest in one of the Charlie Chaplin prints so I already have that listed and I decided to list a few similar prints as well such as some clowns. Then, I’ll take other items and post a few such as the books as soon as one of those sell I will then replace it with another book or a few I just keep doing that until all of them are gone.
WOW!! I would have loved to have gone to that sale! Between this and other video's haul you are going to need help listing. Maybe you can start training Petey and give him a cut?

thank you so much for this video it is good stuff. you mention that cassette tape qualify for media mail I did try before to use media mail to ship dvd but the post worker explain to me I can not because media mail only for education material not for entertainment one. thanks again
The worker is 100% wrong on that. All you have to do is look at the definition of what qualifies for media mail and it applies to any audio and sound recordings. It does not have to be educational.

Thanks you. It’s short for checking the comparables. Another words check to see with the same or similar item has sold for and what the current market place a showing for current pricing.

Yes, I heard somebody else was managing his estate and just decided to liquidate it.
Some of the books looked very dirty... yuck
Some had some dirt in the side but it will wipe off and look good. Most were in great shape though.
