I don’t think people realise just how massive Australia is and the distances between places! I say this as someone as driven across the country from Sydney to Cairns, then all the way across to Broome vis Darwin. Such a beautiful country with some amazing scenery.

The Gold Coast is a more humid heat but generally never goes over 30-35oC
Melbourne on the other hand is a dry burning heat and often hits temperatures of 40+ during the summer, so even though QLD is known to be hotter in general year round, it doesn't actually get as hot as down south during summer. Depending on what the weather is doing, that's where you will most likely feel the true burning heat 🙃

I'm going on a working visa in March so going to travel up the east coast in April is the weather still around 20 oc then ?
@@jsan9389 roughly but the weather is quite varied so it may be 18 one day and 25 the next. Best to park both summer and winter clothing to be safe 😊

Another good & interesting vlog. Lucky the both of you, to be in the same area where Im a Celebrity was & is filmed. One day hopefully will get opportunity to visit & experience the Gold Coast. But its when, as one day would love to. Looking forward to seeing more videos from parks over there, loved the Scooby Doo Coaster attraction. Would love to one day in Universal go into a Spooky Island themed area? With a hotel, swimming pools, beach area? Rollercoasters, rides and attractions like you see in the movie. Be epic lol. But nice travel video, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more in future. 😀👍

What an amazing once in a lifetime trip TPW crew. I thought your Singapore trip was fabulous but this even more so. Your hotel room and balcony is absolutely spectacular I only wish I was there also, another room obviously lol🤣. Don’t worry too much about the spider thing. There is the very large Sun Spider which likes to crawl into cars and can give you a nasty bite but it isn’t venomous. Two you need to be careful about are the much smaller Redback and the highly venomous Funnel Web, however these are generally found in more remote parts of Australia but can still be found in cities and towns. Anyway enjoy your fabulous trip guys😎😉👍

Yes in SA we have red back’s and Huntsman Spiders. You both are going to love Movie world. Make sure you do everything in the world. Don't miss out on anything.
I am from SA Australia, you guys are going to love the theme parks in Queensland. Good luck with the Australian weather. SA is so hot here we get 40-plus c temperatures.

I visited all the parks in surfers, back in 2015, Superman Escape at WB Movie World, The Tower of Terror ( sadly, no longer ) and the Giant Drop at Dreamworld, are my fav's, but there have been some exciting new ride additions, since then. Australia is my second home ( have family there ) so i visit often, from the UK.
Unfortunately they're going to miss out on the giant drop as it's currently closed and getting repainted

I can't sleep in those upright seats either! Don't know how anybody does... and I also struggle going forwards in time difference. Never struggle going backwards so travelling to the US is easy for me, but when I did Australia back in 2019 I actually stayed up for an extra 16 hours rather than trying to bring myself forwards 8 hours - it was the only way! Anyway, your accommodation looks amazing so have a memorable stay! :)

I have family who are near a small regional airport. There is an A side or a B side with their own secure zone so they don't open security until around when the plane lands so you're only in the departure lounge for maybe 20-30mins before you're on the aircraft. I think Newark or LaGuardia works/ed like that

The bath in the hotel is first proper bath on your trips usa , Europe and Australia
That is so great you get to go to Australia. I was there a long time ago, and it was great. I would love to go back. Hopefully you will make time to visit the Great Barrier Reef. It is amazing. I saw it in 2 locations. It was best towards the middle of the reef. I saw it at the tail end and it wasn’t as colorful.

You can use the Lightrail up and down the Goldcoast
Firstly this was an enjoyable visit to Singapore. It’s a place my dad use to R&R in while fighting in the Malayan conflict in the 50’s and he always said “he’d take my mum” but sadly died before he could. So, it was nice to briefly see it.
The transport system to the airport was very efficient and easy to use. Long flight again to Melbourne. If I couldn’t sleep, I think I would of been paying the 13 dollars for in-flight entertainment. Like you Shawn, I wouldn’t miss aircraft food though. 😂.
Nice aircraft views as you arrived at the Gold Coast. Your hotel was amazing and a great base for your stay. Fantastic views from your balcony. Though I had a little vertigo when you looked over down to the pool. 😂. Like Charlotte I’d be concerned what wildlife I might come across. 😂. Bring on the rest of Australia now.

Hey Shawn. I may have told you these things before, but if you need some ideas for new theme park trips, you should come up here to Washington and visit Wild Waves Theme and Water Park. There is also a new theme park opening in Leavenworth this year I believe.
If you fancy visiting Idaho, you should go to Silverwood Theme Park.
For Oregon, go to the Enchanted Forest.
For Arizona, there is a new Mattel Theme Park opening there this year.
You should also go back to Universal Hollywood to celebrate the opening of the new Super Nintendo World area.
