      Jordan's right there. Jordan lost early to Celtics and Pistons, but once he made the finals he's 6-0. 6-0 is better than 6-3. But Jordan didn't have 14 semifinals appearances in 20 years. And Jordan had the best Batman ever in Pippen. It's a toss up for me. Bill Russell also lead the '60s Celtics to 10 championships. I never saw him play though, so I can't comment.

    As a Bucs fan, seeing his discipline, work ethic, leadership, and throwing accuracy, I have a whole new perspective on the Tom phenomenon. I doubted his GOAT status while he was a Patriot, attributing it to the system, and to a lack of exposure to his work regimen and not seeing his games as much as now. The fact is the guy is a class act, is humble, and works his tail off to be the best he can be. That's what elevates him and everyone around him.

    The top stat for Tom Brady that wasn't mentioned, and is possibly the greatest stat in the history of the NFL, is that not counting this season he has been a starter for 18 seasons (20 year career, but did not start in his rookie season, and sat out one season due to injury) and he has reached the Superbowl 9 times. That is 50% of his starts! If he wins this weekend, he will have reached the Superbowl 10 times in 19 seasons, which will put him over 50%.

  • @Ironfangzu
    @Ironfangzu Před 3 lety +2

    to put it in perspective, Tom Brady has had TWO first ballot Hall of Fame careers. In his first 10 years, he won the MVP, won 3 titles, threw for 50 TDs in a season, and then in his next 10 years, he won 2 more MVPs, 3 more titles, and at age 43 he threw for 40 TDs and 4,000+ yards. You take either of those 10 years and he's going straight to the Hall of Fame. This man, in 19 years played, has gone to the conference title game 13 times and is now going to his 14th. He's played in 9 Super Bowls, winning 6 of them. He should be the most arrogant athlete on the planet but if you listen to him, he sounds humble and dedicated, the same as when he started: "I need to find a way to play better, so I can help my team win". Anyone who hates this man is just jealous of his ridiculous football success and his fairy tale life.

I think he's #2 all time in that as well. And If he ends up playing a 3rd year for Tampa his all time stats will just be IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to ever catch. I can't even imagine if he wins a 7th Superbowl. 6 is crazy enough. 7 is just not even human. He doesn't have to do anything more right now and he's far and away the greatest ever.
