Yes the fans loved Queen, and still do. Their fanclub is the oldest existing fan club at all. This kind of events were organized by the fan club. Queen also ever appreciated the fans, and were humble and friendly at occasions when they met them. They knew that it were the fans who made them big and gave them the money they had. It wasn't the press who made them big, rather on the contrary. The press was always mocking and sarcastic towards them, envious and resentful about their success, although they were not monetizing a formula, but were experimental and rich in variety. Roger was asked in an interview in 1977: "We are the champions... where is the modesty?" Roger: "there is none" 😅 But he argued, that they have been modest, but have been held down by the press, so there was no point in being modest anymore. ... if I have that right.
Can you react to was it all worth it by Queen it's so good it's a song that Freddie wrote incase he died because he was supposed to die before Christmas in 1989 bits it's so good
I love seeing John Deacon enjoying himself. He wrote some fantastic songs. I hope he is well and enjoying life
