- There is a lot of curiosity about Charlie Hunter's monochromatic painting technique. He will be doing an online demo painting on August 8 for the Penn Studio School of Art. It will be a full painting, from start to finish, extensively utilizing the squeegee as a mark-making tool. Here is a quick in-studio preview of some of Charlie's techniques.
Sign up for the demo at hunter-studio.com (under the "Workshops" tab), or at : pennstudioschool.com/summer-c... - Zábava

Charlie, you are a brilliant man, thank you for sharing this info. I am inspired to first order an Ettore brass squeegee and paint the family barns. - 'obbie in Mitchell SD.
And squint! Always squint!
@@CharlieHunterArt Thank you Charlie, you are exactly right, it sounds ridiculous but it works, I can sort it out when I can barely see the forms.
This is really good. I love your paintings.
Thank you so much. We try ;-)
Charlie this is amazing , I am a watercolor artist can I still use the squeegee or is it limited to oils .
Great demo. Are you using oil paints? Will this work with acrylic? Would it give the same effect that you’re getting? Thanks.
You certainly can get interesting marks with a squeegee and acrylics; I’m just not conversant enough with the ins and outs of acrylics to say whether the particular techniques I use would translate precisely without modification.
Where can I watch this workshop?
Can this august demo still be seen or was it live?
What medium are you using?
Where can I buy that squeegee?
