- Welcome back to Episode 2 of our mind numbing CO-OP ELDEN RING EXPERIENCE! Today, we take on Godrick the Grafted after pillaging Stormveil Castle, and get our teeth ground into a fine powder by him. Quite literally, we stood no chance, so we go on the grind for a while and take on the Ancestor Spirit who, while much more manageable than Godrick the Destroyer, still beats us to death several times over. We charge back over to Godrick after adventuring and leveling up some more all to see if we can finally defeat him and progress. Is he even possible?

Weapon/armor suggestions for a real gamer samurai? The grind is about to commence once more
Coochie Katana only 💪
Anything but rivers of blood
Avoid Rivers of Blood at all costs.
Light enough armor (or enough endurance) to fast roll, upgrade the katana you have, and get the weapon from the Magma Wyrm in Caelid (the place with the red sky and rotten everything), level up your int enough to use that sword, then push vigor to 50 so you stop dying when low level mobs look at you, dex to 50 (all katanas love dex), and learn to love the Mimic Tear, and DUEL-WEILD THEM KATANAS!!.
Or just get naked, put a pot on your head, and a sword in each hand.
You can really stick with the uchigatana until mid to late game, I really suggest Marias Executioners sword It’s a cool great sword so not samurai but it’s my favorite weapon so i thought I’d mention it

also tip - there is a fancy katana for you in caelid in a VERY EASY and NOT TROUBLING AT ALL place called gaol tunnel. definetely NOT a problem to get
Personally i perfer the katana in caelid that is actually quite easy to get, and looks cool, in the caelid waypoint ruins.

@@yeahkeen2905 it kinda is the idea of these games, you learn as you play but suck and get stuck in the beginning, so i wouldn't say they are gonna do terrible the rest of the game, as long as they don't give up. It was the same even for the pro, the only difference is that they sucked at Dark Souls 10 years ago

True, but Adrian and waffle were like lvl 25 with no flask upgrades for like half their attempts

@@leafyumm It's still their first time playing, and the boss has a health boost, so that isn't exactly a fair comparison.
@@leafyumm the coop mod alters the buff bosses get from more people being in the world. Im assuming you meant rune boss cause theres definitely much easier mandatory bosses, personally i'd say renalla is the easiest rune boss and mr know-it-all is the easiest main boss

I'm 10+ playtroughs in and gotta say.. definetly one of the games of all time.
Even though the first playtrough is always special.. this is one of those games, where it get's even better the more you learn it.
Like yeah, I could rant about fromsoftware game design / how it's so good, but everyone has heard that a million times already.

Its hilarious timing, that as soon as I bought Elden Ring to play with a friend, so does Waffle. I full understand this man's pain and what he is going through.

I am absolutely loving every series I see with Adrian and you! When I clicked on this playthrough I visibly smiled knowing it was with your homeslice for life. Love y'all
The terraria music fits so stupidly perfectly with this game
a few quick tips:
1. learn the boss patterns and instead of running away from them since they will just close the distance learn how to dodge their attacks with the immunity frames provided from dodge rolling and then attack
2. PLEASE UPGRADE YOUR WEAPONS!!!! look for the all the smithing stones required to upgrade your weapon as much as you can.
3. Godrick is the easiest main boss in the game, the reason he gave you this much trouble is mainly because of the two reasons mentioned before

Also, since many bosses have delayed attacks, be careful to not panic roll as it getsbeasily punished
The runes(and dragon hearts) you got were form an over world boss in a near by area who is literally free anyways. It’s strange it somehow died like a mile away for no reason(that’s not supposed to happen)

this is a very good series and a good amount of rage.
@waffletime Few tips, first get some smithing stones to upgrade your weapons, two exploring is really good for getting more damage and things, 3 go to patches and buy margits shackle, its a surprise tool that will help you later, 4 go back to the town with the seals, when you open a seal there is a chest you loot for adrian to get some better spells, 5 look everywhere 6 find sorceress sellen for adrian, she has some goated spells, 7 learn roll times for better survival, 8 there is a catacombs you can go to to get another uchigatana, aka another katana, so I recommend looking into that. Good luck tarnished, you're going to need it.
Also, putting a katana in each hand powerstances it, making them stronger

To lazy to check if it's been said already, but a very effective strat is to dodge roll INTO enemies and their attacks, that way you end up right next to them when they finish attacking
WaffleTime you need to get the Moonveil katana, it's in a cave in Caelid (The crimson biome looking place). Just look up a tutorial on how to find and u'll be able to show off ur sick samurai skills to the endgame

Terraria music is insane
You guys seem to be having a lot of trouble with dodging safely. The dodge is a great tool that can be used to avoid almost every attack in the game IF you use it correctly. Most of the time, you actually want to be dodging TOWARDS and past the boss, as lingering hitboxes will catch you as you come out of your i-frames. Take for example Godrick's fire attacks, you want to dodge through them so that you can get behind him and get some free hits in. Dodging away only keeps you in danger
