First one to say it. I been waiting on someone to verbalize it. This song was heavy and my brain didn't even think about drinking anything. To be honest, I only drank because i was hiding and trying not to cry. It just so happened to be beer.

This is one of the songs that helped me through alcoholism. I’d sit there and cry while I drank listening to this, then one day I thought “That’s it then”. I still listen to it, still love it, but now I have something to be proud of because I don’t drink and cry while listening to it.

New subbie - I had watched you do Dax vids and yet watching from my tv, I could not comment when you started this one. I had to go to your album and was shocked you did NOT do any iof his singing or melodic ones. There are several: My heart hurts, Apocalpse, I can’t breathe (my fav), My Last words and others. The last one was the first time he introduced what folks thought was just melodic and then he busted it out. It was Rock, R&B sounding for most. But he kept asking fans get his vid to so many and I will peep a diff genre and HERE it is: Country, slow draw FIRE. Hope you do one of the last two becuz as a new subbie and surely other subbies who like Dax love to reactions and the face yous love music and like Dax for his talent is a recipe for you to share him with us. Well done… the sad thing is Dax puts this out and ironically we run and tell him how it touched us and bla bla bla w/o saying first: Hey Dax…sorry of what you went thru hope u are better (becuz like he said NOBODY cares about me where I was already losing it feeling his pain was when I lost it.😭

I still drink, probably too much sometimes, but I used to be a hard-core alcoholic. This song really speaks to me

How I can see this song is I can actually feel his pain from drinking. My wife helped giving me a ladder sort of speak to get out of the hole I dug myself. But this song helped me get my drinking fully under control (didn't quit) but over all I feel mentally in control with my drinking,. Love the song and hope to see more of the reactions
Just keep climbing man. It's a hard road. But 6 years sober, you can do it.

Love y'alls reaction and beings I am an alcoholic ( havnt had a drink since November 2016) this is one if those songs ill put in my toolbox for staying sober. I had drank for years and it never became a habit. Then when i was around 30 yrs old i got addicted to some things that got such a hold on me i couldn't function without them. They were all prescribed by a dr and i was never told the dangers of these meds. (I was getting 120 pain pills, 90 nerve pills and 40 A.D.D. speed pills a month). Once i figures out the dangers on my own and asked for help from my dr. They switched me to methadone for a month then cut me off completely from everything and i went into a downward spiral with alcohol for like 10 yrs. And as if this struggle wasn't enough my youngest son (Brett 13 yrs old) was killed. He was hit on his bicycle one evening by an ambulance. So music like this helps me move on when nothing else helps. WHEN WORDS FAIL MUSIC SPEAKS 🎶🎵💙☮☯️💜

I'm not sure I can handle those right now. Editing this video broke me through the whole thing. I'm not an alcoholic by any means.... that being said. I be a liar if I said i didn't use alcohol as a crutch during bad times. I just so happen to be going through some stuff at the moment and this was a hard one to get through.

I’ve been lucky to beat addictions to pretty much every hard substance you can think of but alcohol and tobacco are so available it makes them the hardest to quit in my opinion.
I dealt with other drugs I quit by not talking to the people who sold them, changed my number and deleted their numbers and spend my week or so going through withdrawals and I was done. The legal stuff is the hardest
