Let’s call him Nicholas Godejon, that’s actually his real name. So one day, Nicholas broke into this woman’s home and stabbed her several times. Her name was Dee Dee Blanchard.
Nicholas Godejon then took Dee Dee’s daughter Gypsy Rose Blanchard who was hiding in the bathroom the entire time, and fled with her to his hometown in Wisconsin where they were found by the police a few days later.

That’s the issue. The public should’ve never have expectations. She went in at 24, wasn’t raised normally thinking she was younger, and came out 32. She’s not a normal adult. She was in jail she doesn’t know who’s cancelled and who’s not, she hasn’t even had enough time to form opinions on anything really.
She was NOT in jail. She was never sentenced to jail. There is NO such thing as being sentenced to jail for life or murder. Jail is county and the longest anyone can be sentenced to jail for is ONE year and there is NO such thing as parole from jail. Murder is a crime against the state. You go to prison for murder not jail. Jail is NOT prison.
It’s weird how people where rooting for her and loved her and now they’re all turning there backs against her and hate her. Make it make sense let the poor girl live. This was years ago.

If I was in her situation, who’s to say I wouldn’t have done the same. Her mother pulled her own teeth out. I just can’t imagine. The trauma her mother put her through..had to be devastating. I definitely don’t condone what she did. No one knows, what they would have done, with facing 20 plus years of emotional and physical abuse.

I just think it's crazy how people put her in this light to begin with, making her release from jail trending and making her extremely relevant again. Only to "cancel" her the moment she gets out. Gypsy is probably in the public eye because right now she knows it’s the best time she can make money. She knows how hard it’ll be for her for in the future to get a job due to everyone knowing her case. And her husband probably doesn’t make a lot of money. This story of Gypsy Rose is one of the most saddest one, I have ever heard of! I am NOT a fan of what Gypsy did to her mom and how she coned some guy into helping her. Both of them were of legal age, so they should have just run away, together, period! Killing Dee Dee was NOT necessary, no matter HOW SCARD Gypsy was. She grew up with trauma and abuse from her mother who also forced her to be "younger", which likely held back her mindset a lot and didn't let her develop properly mentally, then she went to prison. Then, she came back into society, and was thrown all over social media, bombarded with people wanting a piece of her. I don't find her behavior strange, all things considered what she's gone trough. It's sad how people so easily throw her under the bus and throw out accusations at her, and forget that they can't judge her behavior the same way you'd judge a "normal" person.

I won’t hold her against anything. Gypsy was isolating for most all her life. She’s been in prison half her life. She’s probably always wanted to speak about anything, most people do actually care about. Nothing is “normal” for her(her situation speaks for itself). To say she acting isn’t “normal” is a bleak statement.

People are not turning against her for no reason at least me I’m all for her to reclaim her life and live happily ever since she deserves it but throwing Nick under the bus like that was shady and kinda narcissistic, she didn’t show any compassion for the guy who literally saved her. Even though the way he did it was atrocious he rescued her and she played the biggest part in her mother’s death. So what she said proves she’s either delusional and self unaware or s master manipulator. She could have at shown Nick some gratitude and compassion because he had good intentions toward her

No one taught her how to do much of anything like Eugenia Cooney. She’s an adult but her mom won’t let her do anything on her own. Remember children learn actions of whoever they are around which was her bad mom so why does everyone keep forgetting that. So mentally she is like a kid. She just needs to go to therapy
