Great tutorial🎉 But my God that is like going back in the day and disassembling a dj mixer ( Gemini, Numark, Radio Shack, Gli ,etc. ) to loosen up the faders or resolder to get a decent cut-in time ( circa 1982- 1993 )
Thanks for the video, I just saved myself close to $500 for repair, cause repair shop quoted me a price for a whole board and labor, I rolled up my sleeves and made it happen, thanks for the walk through 👌🏾
I've just researched the rane one uses cheap numark channel fader which are on the mixtrack and N4, hope rane realises this. no wonder pioneer are the leaders in DJ hardware learn a less in music(RANE). Use good parts maybe you have a decent unit.
For a £1500 vinyl-based controller, having soldered channel faders like this is not a great design decision. I feel Rane could have put separate channel faders into the One quite easily - then the fader replacement would have been as simple as replacing the crossfader. I guess overall pricing was a factor.
Yo, that link for the channel fader says its for NUMARK. When I asked instrumental parts for a part number, they sent me a link for the whole board with channel faders
@DJ Rock are you able to give an advise on an issue I have with my Rane One if you don't mind? The LP/HP Knob remains activated despite the knob positioned back to the 12 o clock position
Hey my brother the like you put up for the Rane one repair deck channel fader. the picture it shows is that one i oder cause i'm going to roll up my shirt sleeve to fix my Rane One channel faders
Hey I have a serious inquiry about getting my my Rane one’s effects switch fixed. It popped offed and I would love to get it taken care of before this gig I have. What’s your shop name?
This is great, but looks like a small nightmare to perform correctly without breaking anything or losing any screws or parts. The part where you suggest to video yourself is a great tip. May I ask what brand/model your desoldering gun is?
im good right up until the sodder part. i wonder can i buy that entire board with the faders already attached. My left pitch fader does volume and the ch fader does nothing. my right ch fader gets louder and lower whenever you touch it.
I need to do some troubleshooting. I have an intermittent problem with muddy sound. Not sure if it’s the channel faders, POT sensitivity, output signals? How do you know it is the fader?
Thank you for your great instruction. Couldnt have done it without you!
bro thank you so much for this video. My left fader just died on me this week.

How many hours would you say it takes?
