Or why not this year is the best year ever. Since I read this just about every year Eurovision have been big on youtube. It is hardly what I think. Few songs from this contest is as strong as I would like them to be. Still it is a fun show. But it could be so much better.

Yeah, or her not picking the overrated fan favourites of Portugal or Serbia her top 😉 And the other half of comments are crying for her not reacting to Israel, which is and taking it a bit too far... People, this video is not a political commentary but and ESC one!! And practically everyone wanted to ban Israel anyway. I haven't supported that until now, but all these hateful comments by Israelis have now changed my mind. :(

Belgium is the best ballad this year ! It will do good , 100% top 10 but its not going to win . We have so many party songs and televoting always prefers them . But my prediction is from the juries Belgium will surely be in top 3
Ha it is the opposite. If Sweden had it, the song would be called generic and over produced. I loved Cornellia 2022 and find that to be one of the best songs ever in Eurovision. But it is not typicall Eurovision., but since it was from Sweden, it was generic and over produced some thought. Even though it just had a bloody green circle on stage.
On the other hand the crap Sweden send this year is typicall for kids voting a lot. It is not typicall Swedish. It is typicall for a certain kind of music Sweden produced between 2015 -2020 for Eurovision.. Most common with this is that it is male singers often liked by girls. Finland must also be kids voting (I hope). I like Belgium this year (note so every year though) but I am not sure it will be the kind of song that will win.
But it far better than this strange rating. Having no rules this high, that is strange to me. And honestly Europapa is catchy but is it good?

I like the entry from the Netherlands this year - but just as a reminder - they also sent a Dutch language entry two years ago and S10 got 11th place. I would say that while we have heard Dutch recently - I hope this entry sends a precedent that the Netherlands can feel more comfortable sending more Dutch-language entries like Europapa and De Diepte.

Interesting list, I had Finland as second last and Luxembourg as 5th last with France being 7th last, while a lot of these made quite high on your list, otherwise it's not too different. Though my top 5 favourites are Switzerland, Italy, The Netherlands, Lithuania and Slovenia.

Worth noting that Mamhood’s “Tuta Gold” has 59,5M streams on Spotify, Geolier 53M, Annalisa 41M and like them several other Sanremo contestants, even if they lacked the same mediatic visibility that Angelina had being the winner.
Italy has 60 million inhabitants, most other countries have a lot less, ranging from 1/3rd to 1/60th.
So the fact that she is at the top spot in every platform, doesn't really mean much.

I am a bit surprised with Switzerland and Lithuania that they are not in your top 6-7 at least, and yeah I like both Ctoatia and Netherlands - but would place Croatia 1 cause hpw many times to listen to Netherlands to like it you need - at least 20😂😂😂 and to Croatia just 5 seconds of the first time you hear it to love it

Honestly what a good lineup we have ended up getting. It was hard deciding an order and my list is very open to change. Literally I could see any of my top 30 qualifying in different circumstances
1. 🇨🇭 Nemo - The Code (I dont know if this is my personal favorite but i also think it has the most winner factor)
2. 🇳🇴 Gåte - Ulveham (THIS is my personal favorite, I love the dark electronic-infused rock, I love that it's in Norwegian and the vocals almost sound like kulning)
3. 🇮🇪 Bambie Thug - Doomsday Blue (FINALLY Ireland sending something bold and impactful, an edgy alternative banger will always be in my top 10)
4. 🇪🇪 5miinust & Puuluup - (Nendest) Narkootikumidest Ei Tea Me (Küll) Midagi (what a mouthful, I love it. I only have room for one quirky group number for Eurovision each year, and this one hit the right balance for me)
5. Italy 🇮🇹 Angelina Mango - La Noia (This sounds like a La Rappresentante di Lista song, so this is my replacement for them not winning Sanremo previously)
6. 🇪🇸 Nebulossa - Zorra (I know this is probably higher than most people have it but I am just so personally endeared to this song even if it doesn't have the strongest vocal)
7. 🇦🇲 Ladaniva - Jako (I LOVE THIS. It's so fun and authentic and jubilant. So many ethnic bops this year, this one just happens to be my favorite)
8. 🇸🇮 Raiven - Veronika (We always need witch representation in Eurovision, love the siren vocals)
9. 🇵🇹 Iolanda - Grito (Simple yet still sophisticated and artistic, quality as expected from Portugal)
10. 🇦🇹 Kaleen - We Will Rave (Just pure fun, I didn't expect to like this one as much as I did. Hopefully it doesn't continue the curse of the girlies getting outshined by their own production)
11. 🇬🇷 Marina Satti - Zari (Just barely missed out on top 10 because Armenia brought a similar energy that appealed to me a bit more)
12. 🇧🇪 Mustii - Before The Party's Over (the visuals are really what put this above and beyond for me, I hope those are seen on the Eurovision stage as well)
13. 🇺🇦 Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil - Teresa & Maria (I can always count on Ukraine to give something high quality no matter what year it is)
14. 🇫🇷 Slimane - Mon Amour (Impactful performance with no frills, classic France. Great entry, but I can't help but feel like there's something missing)
15. 🇬🇧 Olly Alexander - Dizzy (The queer representation this year is so good!!!! We have a lot of poppy bops this year but the synths here are so addictive it stands out in a subtle way)

Love the video, but saying that the Netherlands sending pop friendly songs hasn't really worked for them is a bit off the mark. They qualified 8 out of the past 10 years, got a win in 2019 and a 2nd place in 2014. How is that 'not working'?

If you love Austria's song you will love a song from Finnish band Movetron "Romeo ja Julia" totally same vibe and partly same disco track, pure 90's music.

Honestly when Joost was announced I was like "hmm, odd pick though he might make the final". To think now that after five years we have a potentially winning song on our hands is crazy. Personally I think La Noia remains my favourite but Jako is growing on me and there's indeed songs like Switzerland, Ukraine, Norway, France and Sweden that have such exquisite quality that you cannot dismiss them.
