Eastleigh BR Works, open day 1988. Class 09, 33, 58, 73 Diesels and Deltic D9000 on display and in various states of repair. Various EMU's under repair.
Merchant Navy class, 35027 Port Line and 35028 Clan Line on Display.

Hello. Thanks for posting this. I spotted my Grandad, fleetingly at the beginning of your footage. He was a train driver, retired at this point and he always used to go to these open days, and sometimes I would too. I always search CZcams for new cab videos as he appeared in one once and I would like to watch it again, but as yet no luck. Thanks again. 👍
