I'm a reformed plant killer. Thanks to the taco test (and a new house with much more sunlight...) my obtusifolia is not only alive a year later but grew flower spikes last summer! Thanks Nick!

The Peperomia Elongata is so stunning. And I'm really impressed - that succulent/cactus soil mix looked like really great quality. Much better than anything I've seen in the shops, haha.

Nick, the taco test is one of the best information I have learned from you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I enjoy you channel tremendously.

I never, ever repot into ceramic or other pots. All of my plants are in plastic pots set inside a cache pot. That way I can keep my favourite pots where I want them and change out the plants any time, plus I bottom water all, so it's way easier. I repot up into bigger plastic pots. I just don't see any advantage to potting other than a nursery or orchid type of plastic pot.

I repotted my peperomia angulata (spreading variety) and it grew so so fast I was amazed. And during winter!

This is one of the most comprehensive and informative plant videos I’ve ever seen! Peperomia is one of the types of houseplants that I can never seem to get right and now I feel like I have a much better shot at keeping them alive

I love Peperomia plants. I purchased a hope earlier this year and it's growing like crazy. Such an adorable plant!

Thank you. I've gotten pretty advanced with a lot of my plant care but this is one that has continually stumped me.

I have peperomia rotundifolia rn and damn she is a survivor . I almost killed it twice, got her repotted, she lost all her leaves and I thought it was dead but no. She is growing her new small cute leaves rn. I am in love

RIP 🪦 to my P. rosso, which I probably killed by a combo of overwatering, repotting, and then underwatering 😂

Nick, I've been following you for a while for your plant tips, but I have to say I Iove love LOVE your planters! They look aged and have so much character! You clearly put a lot of thought into how to display your plants in the best possible way.

@NickPileggi A word about petioles and propagation. For P. obtusifolia and P. albovitatta, I carefully cut the base of the leaf to expose the little veins. I found this produces more babies when propagated in water or vermiculite, particularly if the leaves tend to rot easily any other way.

Those potting mixes!😍 I wish they were available in my country as they are exactly what I am seeking for epiphytic cactus such as epiphyllums. Another outstanding video, Nick, and I like how you're evolving into a conversational style with occasional teaching moments.

I own a bunch of Peperomia, they are my favorite genus and more interesting to me than gangly philodendron.

Love sharing a love of peperomia! Thanks a bunch for the great tip on the Hope, I got one a month or two ago after hearing you talk about it and I am excited for it to look lush like yours in the future 😊

  • @saritacruz3020

I have lots of Peperomia, but funnily enough, not many from this list. There are soooooo many!
