Hard headed woman was always one of my favorite songs of Elvis
I thought it’s now or never should have been on the list
Trouble is missing
unchanged melody was hoping it was in here
UNCHAINED MELODY?
I love ‘If I Can Dream’. The raspiness in his voice just shine brightly in this song.
I also live it especially sang at his Came back concert 1968 🌸
It’s one of my favorites and my grandmother’s
Elvis singing Unchained Melody is spectacular!!!
Yup!!
Not ashamed to admit that in the movie when they played that form his last performance, I definitely had a tear in my eye. Such a beautiful song sung by the artist with the best voice in history.
Agree
I love American trilogy. He’s singing it at its best in the aloha Hawaii concert.
@@JGlennFL most iconic voice but not the best those would be Michael Jackson and Freddy Mercury imo.
If I can Dream, to me, is by far his best song. There’s emotion, there’s vocal range and there’s a story behind it. Fantastic
it's the closest thing to a song he wrote... not a cover
Elvis had been dead for 45 years but it feels like he's still alive cuz he never dies in our heart
Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.
In your heart
What you need is 3 separate lists.
10 best 1954-1959 elvis song (early)
10 best 1960-1967 elvis song (movies)
10 best 1968-1977 elvis song (comeback + Vegas)
@Paul Gwyn clean up your own back yard is one of my favorites and the movie it was featured in is one of my favorites as well.
"Elvis is not dead. He just went home"
One of my favorite lines ever. Just for the pure strength of it. 🙌🏾
Yes he did
To hell
I thought he just left the building
Is that from Men in Black?
Just saw the Elvis movie last night, it was so cool seeing Austin Butler play the King justice 🤘🏻
He slayed that role!! I bet he gets nominated for a best acting Oscar
@@patrickorourke41 I’m sure he will! 🏆
I know it’s amazing! ❤️
The King would have been proud
Austin was a great Elvis
I know that "Bridge Over Troubled Water" was written and originally recorded by Simon and Garfunkel but Elvis did an amazing cover of it. If you haven't heard Elvis sing this song then I do recommend you listening to it.
You are sooo right.
I love this song
Still not better than Simon and Garfunkel's version
@@ericstorm6582 Simon later commented that while it was a “touch on the dramatic side”, “so was the song” and that when he first heard it, “it was unbelievable. I thought to myself, ‘How the hell can I compete with that?'”
@@ericstorm6582 As Steve said apparently Paul Simon felt it was.
It's now or never, Unchained Melody, Bridge over troubled water, My way, What now my love, Kentucky rain, Stuck in you, Polk salad annie, You've lost that loving feeling, How the web was woven, Tomorrow never comes, His latest flame, And I love you so, How great thou art, Bossa nova baby, etc etc
Agent J: "I thought Elvis was dead!"
Agent K: "Elvis ain't dead. He just went home."
I took my 85 year old mom to see the movie Elvis this past weekend and she loved it. She was able to see him in person and the movie took her back to her youth. She is why I love Elvis too! Grew up with his music filling our house.
Saw the Elvis movie today and it was amazing💝🥰😢😭😇🕊
Yes it was!!
Elvis has a voice for the ages. It's inexplicable that one singer could posses a voice that has never been categorized as one type and more importantly, wasn't limited by genre. The emotional depth is truly unmatched as well as his uncanny ability to create such intimate connections with the listener that an entire audience feels like the only one he was singing to, and the way he could get so much out of any song are all reasons why Elvis deserves to be celebrated for the simple truth about him is that he loved music.
He has over 300 songs on every chart!
You put it beautifully!
If I Can Dream has such an impact on me, it is Elvis in his element. You can tell he is singing about something he feels very strongly about, the emotion and pain in his voice is awesome.
As long as a man has the strength to dream, he can redeem his soul and fly!
My favorite song by Elvis is Kentucky rain I’ve loved it every since my grandad played it on his record player
Phenomenal song.
...with the rain in my shoes...searching for you...in the cold kentucky rai ai ain Love it too!
Don't care who you are in the music industry and what you have accomplished, you have to say there was something special about Elvis' look, style, charisma, and voice. You have to say "Pioneer." You have to say "Greatness."
💀
Don't Cry Daddy and You Gave Me a Mountain always hit my heart.
Awesome list for The King songs. Some honorable mentions:
- Baby Let's Play House
- Guitar Man
- Just Pretend
- I Can't Stop Loving You
- You Gave me a Mountain
- Counting on You
- Bridge Over Trouble Water
My personal favourite is My Way. Yes, he got it from Frank Sinatra, but Elvis sings it way better.
@@laurencesnee8362 totally agree!

my favorite song of elvis is can't help falling in love
As a black kid from the inner city raised on The Spinners and P-Funk, I never understood Elvis' music until a family friend made me listen to "Jailhouse Rock". It was then I realized who I was dealing with and just how "Bad" Presley was. RIP King👑

Elvis is probably the most influential musician ever, as he broke through the classy style that was around and had sent out a wave of rock and roll through the nation and the world
Elvis was not a musician.
A musician is some one who can read music that has been written for the instrument he or she is playing. Since Elvis could not read nor write music, he is not a musician.
GROW UP!
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 SEEE THERE YOU ARE AGAIN DISRESPECTING ELVIS... SO MANY HAVE CALLED YOU OUT JUST KEEP HATING KARMA WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 Elvis created music with a guitar and his voice, he was a fucking musician. He was THE fucking musician. Get over yourself
The voice is an instrument.
GREAT Choices!!!! I do wish "Unchained Melody" would of made it!!! His VOICE WAS SO POWERFUL AT THE END OF HIS LIFE!!! He was so sick but NEVER Gave up!!! Elvis will remain in our hearts forever!!! He never left the building!!!!!!!!
dammit “if I can dream” should’ve been higher. At least the top 3. this song was SOOOO important to Elvis’s life. this was him saying that as long as I’m alive I’m gonna live my dreams no matter what, and I’m gonna make sure you remember me and the people we lost. so underrated. My favorite song by him.
EDIT: TROUBLE shouldve been on this list!!!
I think one of his finest performances is that last “Unchained Melody” he played on the piano. It brings me chills every single time I listen to it.
Totally agree, watching him struggle with speaking and being out of breath, but sitting down and singing so powerfully was heart wrenching.
'Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has left the building!'

I love Elvis, he was so handsome! My ex boyfriends best friend’s dad was OBSESSED with Elvis like had Elvis memorabilia all over their basement including a giant statue of Elvis. I’m curious to see the new biopic movie because they can be a hit or miss
I've heard it is fantastic. I am excited to watch it
Yeah, I've heard it's phenomenal and Austin Butler did such an amazing job, the family was overjoyed. That says a lot.
I still can't believe Harry Styles didn't get the part. He's such a great impersonator. Although Butler has his looks down.
I can't wait to see it.
@@wendyodell356 Austin was the right person to play him 100% I can say after watching it!
It was definitely a hit
It was fantastic. Felt less like a wikipedia article like so many Biopics can be and instead felt like I was in the audience at one of his shows all the way back when he was starting. I was left in awe at what and who Elvis was as a man. He truly was and forever will be the King.
Never saw tears coming out of his eyes and I'm so glad I never did, but seeing a streak of sweat down his cheek made it hard to imagine him cry
Hard to believe that Elvis only won three Grammy awards, all for Gospel recordings. My favorite Elvis song: In the Ghetto.
My favorite is A Big Hunk O’ Love. That song just screams 1950s dance music 🤘🏻
Awards have always been a joke, Taylor Swift has a bunch but she's not very talented and nobody is going to think of her in 20 years.
@@BishopWalters12 Yeah, sometimes the greatest award is stand the test of time. The king has been died for 45 years but he still be adored all around the globe
But at least he got Noble Peace Award
No Award On Earth actually for him, cuz GOD tier Humans deserves this Universe
THENNOW FOREVER be 👑 KING OF ALL Modern Music Genres 👑
The sheer amount of impact Elvis Presley did on popular culture unspeakable. He was so ahead of his time, without a doubt the best entertainer of the 20th century
My grandma’s mom and Elvis ‘s aunt were good friends and she knew Elvis well and she had a guitar signed by Elvis and she passed it down to my mom and now me
Elvis Presley, the greatest cover artist of all time
Elvis will definitely never ever leave the building
Fool
She's not you
Blue Spanish eyes
To name but a few.
Elvis recorded hundreds of songs, making a list of the top hits is not easy, his voice, performance and popularity made any song he touched fantastic.
After watching the Elvis film, I’m proud to say that it has converted me to the King of Rock! It makes me want to travel back to that age and live in it! Suspicious Minds was, and still is, a song from childhood (even before watching the film)!
Even though I'm in my 20's i'll always love Suspicious Mind's because i used to love singing that when my mum went down to the pub every weekend for Karaoke night because of that i have fond memories of that song growing up, many bonding moments with that song for me :')
Song the ELVIS TUPELO STORIE NOT THAT ELVI🦧🦧🦧🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍
Here are my top 10 favourites by Elvis Presley.
10. Double Trouble
9. There’s Gold In The Mountains
8. I’m Just a Smokey Mountain Boy
7. Frankfort Special
6. Unchained Melody
5. You Ain’t Nothing But A Hound Dog
4. Blue Swede Shoes
3. Viva Las Vegas
2. Kissin Cousins
1. The Promised Land.
I love the Promised Land because of that tunnel scene in “Men In Black”. After pressing the little red button, they have the black car go turbo, go upside down on the tunnel ceiling and play that music. Especially when they went…
“You do know Elvis is dead, right?”
“No, Elvis is not dead. He just went home!”
@Paul Gwyn Never heard about that song.
He was truly blessed with the gift of being a great musician.
Can't Help Falling in Love is my favourite Elvis song, but another one of my favourite songs is a song that I feel doesn't get enough love 'Young and Beautiful' I adore that song. :)
I'm so glad the king lives on after ALL these years.👑💖💖💖
Fantastische Songs.Fantastischer Sänger.👏👏👏👏
Best singer ever
My favorite is "I want you, I need you, I love you".
Suspicious Minds finally gets the credit it deserves lol. It’s Elvis’s best song in my opinion.
King! A certain community can keep on hating him, but he will always be the King.
I might be a kid but I wish Elvis was still alive
Thank you for the number one. Definitely also THE song which made me an Elvis fan. :) Just came from the theatre after watching ELVIS. Bloody brilliant (especially Austin Butler). When watching the ending, I felt like I came from this era (even though I was born 11 years after his death). I'm so happy that Elvis remains relevant to this day.
me too. i loved the film and became an instant fan after watching the film. i loved suspicious mind and the ending is so heartbreaking!
@@nenabunena I loved the ending so much. Had also to sit through the credits.
@@xenijagrunschnabel7766 i loved it too. I was so emotional over it. I didn't sit through the credits bec I watched it with my mom and she wanted to go
Love me tender is # 1 on my list
Nobody does it better than My Mojo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD!
My favourite elvis song of all time is just can't help believen
Its now or never ,dont cry daddy mama like the roses and so many other songs so tough to choose elvis was and still the best of them all period

🇦🇺💃🕺🎸🙋♀️🇺🇲 FABULOUS ELVIS, FABULOUS CHOICE OF SONGS, LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF YOUR VIDEO.. VIVA ELVIS FOREVER, CHEERS FROM AUSTRALIA ♥️ 🙋♀️ 🇦🇺 👍 👌 👏
If i can dream is not just my favourite Elvis song its my favourite song of all time!
My list would be almost totally different. That's what's so great about him
Great list but some of Elvis' gospel music was great too. How Great Thou Art comes to mind.
I’ve never been able to get into Elvis but he was such a polarizing and charismatic figure. He reminds me a lot of Eminem though, a good hearted figure with tremendous love for a culture/genre and always showed appreciation to the pioneers regardless of if their fans who supported them appreciated the culture or not. Elvis is definitely in my Top 20 for sure, around his contemporaries like James Brown, Chuck Berry, and Little Richard.
That’s normal. It’s a generational things. A lot of things in music have changed since Presley. But you recognize him for his achievements and talent. You show insight that many others don’t have. Which is lacking in todays society. Oh and I’m not of Presley era. Born way after he hit it big. 👋
I did my way was a fantastic song thank you❤❤
⭐There are so many, how to pick only 20?! ⭐ A few more:
"Now and Then"
"The Wonder of You"
"I Need Your Love Tonight"
"I Want You, I Need You, I Love You"
"Bossa Nova Baby"
And as Jeffrey said, "Hard Headed Woman"
Elvis will always be the King. And Austin Butler was BRILLIANT. Hope he gets the Oscar.
I don't mind Elvis but I am not like a die hard fan of his. But don't get me wrong Elvis will always be one of the greatest artists in music history! Hound Dog is my all time favourite song from the King! :) By the way great list so many great songs he had a great voice and iconic film performances, his music will never die out, it will always live on for generations though.
If I can dream not being top 10 is criminal
Many people only know this legend because of the recent movie (and that's all right) , but me and others probably know him and became a fan of him because of many reasons, watching him in person (such lucky type of fans), heard one/most of Elvis' song and since then they never got it out of their mind, watched his movies and got stuck on the songs performed within it, or just like mine, which is I became obsessed of his cool hairstyles and his early songs (and the obsession turn into becoming one of a diehard fan of someone I never met in real life), And other else.
I'll remember you, Love me, One night, Trying to get to you are great songs.
Also his versions of Unchained Melody, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Polk Salad Annie, Promised Land, You've lost that loving felling are amazing.
Elvis has an incredible songbook, but Heartbreak Hotel is my favorite. Suspicious Minds is 2nd ❤️👍👍
What an unbelievable talent
Jailhouse Rock, Can't help falling in love and Suspicious minds are my three favorite Elvis songs, but I rediscovered If I Can Dream when watching the Elvis movie in cinema and it is a close 4th place.
Trouble from King Creole is a personal favorite. Love the scene in the movie too.
"The Wonder of You" should have made it into this list!
Suspicious Minds is my personal fav. I love the lyrics
Great video and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
Elvis. The man was a Legend. Will always be a Legend.
Elvis forever ❤❤❤❤
Being an army veteran and my favorite Elvis movie being g.i. Blues my personal favorite song of Elvis is the song g.i. Blues
I was also stationed in Germany for 3 years
Great list, but if anyone is reading this PLEASE GO LISTEN TO KENTUCKY RAIN by the king!!! It is one of my favorites!!
My top three is:
3) Jailhouse Rock
2) Can’t help falling in love
1) The Wonder of you
(Actually I love preety all of the Elvis songs but this are the ones I love the most)
0:26 That's a really good Elvis Presley impression, WatchMojo Narrator. :o
My favorite is Love Me Tender. Beautiful song!
Unchained melody made me cry, I know it probably wasn't the case but it was like he was singing to his mother and he predicted that he wouldn't have long left
Can't help falling in love with you is my favorite, so emotional and soul capturing
Unchained Melody is #1 that's the most passion and emotion I have ever seen and heard
In the Ghetto brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it.
My all-time Elvis fave is Love Me. I guess it wasnt one of the more well known songs he ever sang, but it still gives me goosebumps when I hear it. I also love I Need Your Love Tonight. I just saw the Elvis movie the other day and there were people dancing, singing and even crying during the performance. Austin Butler was awesome!
One of his most underrated ones!! Absolutely love that song! Along with I want you, I need you, I love you,
I was the one, and Trying to get to you!
I love how great thou art by Elvis
No we didn't missed any of my favorite tunes on CZcams from Elvis Presley like Viva Las Vegas and Burning Love and A Little Less Conversation and Blue Suede Shoes and All Shook Up and Heartbreak Hotel and Jailhouse Rock and Hound Dog on the record or on the radio
There are so many great songs. I love them all. One of my favorite’s is If I can dream. I also love the gospel songs. He has such a great voice.👍❤️❤️❤️
Always on my mind. Still gives me goosebumps when I hear it on the radio. Elvis had a phenomenal voice. 🙏😊
That death in GRACELAND BECAUSE IS HIS NOT OF PRESCILLA
One of the better Elvis top songs lists.
I have two favorite Elvis songs right now: If I Can Dream and Wooden Heart. ❤️🕺🏻🎸
You see Elvis is one of those Artists where it’s hard to pick an exact placement for these songs like there is so many songs that also deserve to be on this list
You gave me a mountain is one of my favorite Elvis songs
“You do know Elvis is dead, right?”
“No, Elvis is not dead. He just went home!”
-Will Smith & Tommy Lee Jones as Agents K & J, “Men in Black”, 1997.
So many great songs song by Elvis!
