I still need to get around to playing KC:D (I bought it months ago, installed it, played a bit, but haven't dedicated the time to it yet!), but I'm glad that robust modding tools are available for the game. These tutorials will be extremely helpful, given that KC:D runs on a game engine that will be unfamiliar to many modders. Thanks!

What we REALLY need is a step by step example from the beginning of an actual mod creation. Like making a new npc with a simple quest or adding armor or weapons.. A tour around this pseudo cry engine program. I've watched all of these "tutorials" so far and aside from the headache just to install the modding tools onto my machine and get them to work, i am no closer to creating or modding anything. Thank you @Warhorse Studios for these tutorials but they need to be WAY better! People are not familiar at all with this system. These lessons that you're offering are nice but ultimately a waste because you are teaching step 67 when we REALLY need steps 1-10 first!!! I would REALLY love to start working on some of my ideas! Thanks again @Warhorse Studios for such an amazing game, I love you! :)

This is so true! It's far better showing us how to recreate step by step a functional simple mod , especially for quests or simple extra content from start to finish.
@@dlakodlak Obviously that did not work out to well as even very experienced modders can't even figure out how to make a simple quest. Modding is currently close to death , you can blame the tools & lack off "dummy" & Beginner friendly tutorials. Just one video that recreates a simple mod from start to finish. Would literally solve everyone's problems.

@@GameCritics I think they'll do next game in this universe. It would be easier and for them and people will rather buy a game of title they know it was good than brand new title of (after all) small and relatively new studio somewhere in Eastern Europe.

This video series is clearly only a small part of the modding support. It's not a gamedev school and never will be.

Lockpicking still so frustrating and an impossible mechanic to me. Would really love to see a video of one of the devs involved with this game to unlock a chest with a controller.

This is all well & good but at least help some of us get started for modding. With the V2 of modding tools there was a change in where to write the offset ID in sequences.sql, I couldn't find the answer in either the documentation or forum posts so I started a new thread here: forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/8187913-v2-where-to-write-the-offset-id-in-sequencessql
Others are also experiencing the same issue but so far no one has come up with a solution. It would be appreciated if this issue can be resolved soon so that we could start modding. Thanks
When are you guys gonna remove the feature on ps4 thats make the game super ugly after drinking a save potion? Stopped played the game because of it.
