Dialogue randomizer is so good
QOTD: If takedowns do return in Borderlands 4, how long time-wise should the be to run?
I feel like 10 minutes give or take is a good amount for a true trials takedown.
I'd LOVE to see some team based raids, like the raids in Destiny 2 (those could last hours sometimes). Lots of puzzles, lots of tech. Tons of stuff to do with your friends.
15 to 30 minutes (normal to true trial). Anything less feels like the content is to short, but much longer would feel tedious and annoying
10mins~ for normal then 20-25mins for challenge mode that way both sides get something out of it

But I'd like one that is maybe twice as long that rewards you with a general nox style chest room with dedicated drops from it's chests
Qotd: let us choose. Maybe have 5 ranks, where rank 1 is short, and you only get like 3 chests to loot at the end, and only takes like 15 minutes to complete, and rank 5 is super long, but you got knoxx chest room amount of chests at the end and could take like 45 min to an hour to complete.

Maliwan takedown was for me long enough but I would suggest adding some riddles on the side for extra loot. But I would actually say that the Ultraviolet mansion would be the best idea to follow. Having a big area with 4 different bosses (with maybe different loot pools) where you only need to kill 1 to go to the final section would be good so people can pace themselves how long they want to have it

@@RealityMasterRogue yeah, it is just so good. the fights are good, the map looks awesome, and it doesn’t have the stupid super tanky guardians.
Best part is definitely the voice randomizer. Those random voice lines get me every time 😂

I think around the length of the guardian takedown is perfect, just as long as most of it isn't filled with unrewarding plate standing and shoddy parkour again like the guardian takedown

I honestly think Malliwan takedown is the perfect length. Give the right gear and build you can do normal takedown on mayhem 11 in roughly 30-45 minutes. I think 30 minutes is the sweet spot, not to long that it discourages farming and not to short that it feels like a regular boss.

I would say the length of the Maliwan Takedown, maybe a little longer with optional paths. Like a combination of Maliwan Takedown and The Cartels event.

joltz, here's a tip, the queen has forsaken mortars (especially when you look excessively yellow) so take your luggage to Nicaragua, makes the loot spread faster and you're not late to the renewable energy conference
If takedowns return, we need more options for how to play it, like cycling different bonus effects or changing how to enemies work, stuff like that

I think having a variety would be good. There's already infrastructure for altering certain takedown stats, but another option is to make a Digistruct-Peak type segmented map. Not as back-loaded, but still. Say, every quarter of the way, you choose between two doors. One leads to an increasingly stuffed treasure room, the other continues the map. The final treasure room could be a full loot room like Nakayama's ship, or like the loot rooms at the end of BL3's DLC's, but the takedown could easily take an hour.

For take downs i feel it should have a mix of both, with a few take downs you can run over and over fast, then have more challenging options for those who want it.
takedowns should be around 30 mins for an avg player, 15 mins for an experienced player. and be way more rewarding than normal bosses and such, to keep them more interesting.
i think 10 to 15 minutes is perfect for takedowns, not too long and not too short but also rewarding

I would love for takedowns to be similar to dungeons in destiny 2 but much simpler. Each takedown has a specific mechanic and actually takes more effort than just speeding through hoards of enemies
You should be able to choose from 15 minutes 30 minutes or an hour with its own loot pools.

would love to see an updated mod install vid, the ones I've watched aren't really that good at articulating what you need and how to do it, along with no troubleshooting tips/help last time i did it, I tried using the bl2 mod manager and that didnt work at all, but I did the other way and that worked only like 1/2 the time, along with it not registering some of the mods i tried getting, it's been forever so i forgot the details
honestly some of each would be cool or an option to either exfill early or extend a run
Lowkey I think takedowns are a good length already. They currently are equal length to a dungeon in Destiny and I think that's probably the best for both solo and teams of 4
I would love a mix of tacdowns in durations anywhere from 10 to more elaborate 30+ min runs but also bl2 like raid bosses
QOTD: I think there should be varying lengths of takedowns, like one kind of take down could be longer with more mobs or one could be shorter with more bosses. That way there's somewhat of a variety in your options.
I think time to run is fine, could do with maybe one more boss per if we're getting more/similarly powerful. I do want more variety and, dare I say it, some mechanical intricacies more than longer runtime.

I think Takedowns should be 30 min or under to complete per run. But I also think we should have the option to save at certain bosses and repeat farm them without having to do the whole takedown again. Like the mod for cap haunt in bl3

TakeDowns time has to be bases in ur damage in that run. If u have dealt 100.000 damage, extends a timer for 30 seconds, per example
Since the takedowns have 2 mods in bl3, why not have a short one and an endurance one where you get rewarded based on a point system for kills and time where kills get more points than time since people would probably cheese it and hide (loot room after where it starts with chests contain all white up is lose immediately to best rarity they think should be achieved through it to balance)
Takedowns should work like the raids in Destiny. Maybe not as long. Every encounter is ~10-15 minutes, with a bit of loot at the end of each.
There should also be modifiers for both the player and the enemies. Like certain gun types getting buffs, enemies throwing more grenades, no minimap, bonuses to elements ect.
It entirely depends on what the takedown is centered around. If it is to be similar to maliwan takedown, I would be fine with that but if plays similar to digipeak in both gameplay and time then I would probably find other tasks to do in the game.

I think 10-15 minutes-ish for regular and closer to 30 for true takedowns? Gotta feel that difficulty boost. Of course, alongside that I'd like proper exclusive true takedown loot.
I think Takedowns are a nice concept that shouldn't replace raid bosses. May be nice to be able to skip to certain sections after completing a takedown at least once with a drop penalty for balance

I think they should be longer with a far greater reward at the end. Most of late game is just save quit farming over and over and over. And sometimes it can definitely get a bit repetitive even if the farm is fun.
With longer takedowns you can actually play the game for longer than 5 minutes and spend more time in the mix which we all love ❤️
If they do take downs again, they should make it so if youd already beaten it once before, you can just skip to the boss.
Maybe have a fast travel that unlocks when you get to the raid boss???
