discover university is actually a GIGANTIC expansion pack, none of the newer expansion packs contain as much stuff as it does
The ailen party thing is really cool. Since ailens are an older occult, they don't have very much lore. Its nice to see something for them.
Everyone keeps hating on the sims but sometimes these little things remind me why I love it
I think a lot of people who hate on the sims (not everyone) but a lot don’t play the game. They just watch sims content on CZcams so they don’t explore the features themself. I’ve seen people complain about features that aren’t in the game that actually are. Just a thought, no hate to anyone.
I mean like it's sad to have more features for love experience and stuff by buying a 40 dollar pack... Expansion or not... It will not be good if you gotta pay money for something that the next generation sim games will add free

Honestly the Sims community is by far the most toxic fandom I know and that's saying a lot.

Unpopular opinion: The Sims 4 is not a bad game. The issue lies in the fact that the difference between The Sims 2&3 and The Sims 4 is more significant than the difference between The Sims 2 and 3. Nowadays, people often lack the patience to explore games thoroughly. Additionally, many of the features in The Sims 4 are not immediately obvious; you need to discover them. The game offers a lot of details and gameplay-you just need to know where to find them. That's why I love videos like these.
I completely agree! I swear I never hear anything good about the Sims 4, but I truly enjoy some of the packs. The more I learned about these features, the more I enjoyed the game. People just need to stop and actually play through the pack features.
Fully agree i find most of the time when i see compaints about sims being surface level and i look at how they play i find out they dont use any of the sub systems avaliable like lifestyles, memories, NAP, and clubs.
popular opinion: the sims 4 is not a bad game, but a clear sign that profits are more important than consumer happiness for EA even IF the devs who do work on the game are trying their best.
Ah yes. A good game. A game where buying all dlc costs you a thousand bucks and even then you get a buggy and unfinished game.

Had no idea about quite a few of these things. You and Petey Plays are always teaching me new things about the game that I would have otherwise missed. Even if I think I know everything about an expansion pack, clearly I don't.

I did show you a hidden feature that's Spa Day related long ago on Twitter/X. If you buy facial masks from the computer, they'll be warm, but if you put them in a fridge and wait for a couple of seconds or one minute. The facial masks will be cooled which can help to alleviate tense moodlets faster or longer.
If you buy the facial masks from that specific Spa Day mini-fridge. The facial masks will be already cooled which makes sense that you got from that fridge.
Fun Fact: the Military sparring animations were recycled from The Sims 3: World Adventures.

You know... Whenever I see a notification from your channel I'm immediately attracted to it and, the worst that might happen is I'm busy, so I'll just add to Watch Later and watch the video ASAP. This time wasn't different, but, by the title I couldn't help but think it would be just a list of stuff I already knew, or something like that, still I watched it because it was your video and... Boy was I wrong!! Of course, there were things that I already knew but I was actually mindblown by a CONSIDERABLE amount of stuff, my reaction was like CAN WE DO THAT???? IN THE SIMS 4??? 🤯 Made me remember that I do have reasons to appreciate The Sims 4 despite its MANY problems and hence, this might be a great spark to, somewhat, heal my Burnout from the game

Thanks again for a great video! One feature I wonder if people know about is that if you create a pond in your home lot, you can place the fishing sign on it (from the water features section, not debug) and after that, you can select to fill the pond of any fish you have captured so far. Need an angelfish for ambrosia? If you've found one before, just click to fill the pond with them and you can fish as many angelfish as you want from there. Easy!
I've recently found the tasty sim thing with my vampire sim. So of course I locked that sim in the basement and went out to find another. Now I'm trying to uh... make more, if you know what I mean

A LOT of these I didn’t know but I did know many of them as well. This is what I love about the sims it’s soooooo many hidden gems In the sims and I see so many people run to mods to play and it’s nothing wrong with that you do you but I see stuff that you don’t need mods for in game you just have to be patient and explore and actually play the game and you will discover so many hidden gems im telling you. Thanks for the video 🎉❤

Great video as always. Just one thing to add, on fact 74 (at 7:20 part), the new sim that is generated will be set as your sim's cousin, thus preventing romance. It also seems like if your sim already has cousins, the game will still generate a new sim for it. So yeah...
Also, 99 is an interesting fact as it is one part of the sabotaging holiday traditions feature. Oh there are a lot: adding something extra to great meals, sending forged break-up letters, fighting Flower Bunny/Father Winter for eggs/presents etc.

Small correction for 98, a child (or younger) sim can be adopted by an adult sim regardless if they have a parent. I’ve got a single mom who’s kids were adopted by her boyfriend Johnny Zest
57 is something that the devs did say during their livestream....... BUT When we think sims 4 gameplay is shallow, we get these. I feel like the problem is that, the PR dept doesnt find it necessary to promote actually enjoyable features that add personality.

The Engineer caterer looks fun.
Apparently lights can break in the Sims 1 as when sims try to replace the bulb there’s a chance they can get electrocuted but when I played the Sims it never happened to me. I think that feature was removed in Livin' Large as the deluxe version has Livin' Large built in. Only this detail would ever return in the future. Even though repairing animations are so bad in the sims 4 the neon lights feature maybe close to what we got in the first game. Maybe if anyone has the Sims 1 base game could try it without expansion packs installed and see if lights can break as I only found this out on the wiki.
I discovered just yesterday that mermaids can talk to the fish in not only fish tanks but the aquarium table from My First Pet Stuff. Not groundbreaking, but thought it was a fun little detail since the table can't be interacted with otherwise and the stuff pack is so controversial (and pointless) 😅
