The Grayling quote was very helpful in trying to explain how the ancient Greeks had a tendency to be more rational (and so, more followers of logic) than their neighbors. The Greeks inherited so much from the ancient Egyptians and Assyrians ("Chaldeans"), and were even open to Persian ideas if they were useful. But the shining glory of the Greek mind was its real interest in accumulating knowledge and understanding of the world and the universe in the pursuit of better living. Your CZcams posting does much in discussing Thales and the Greek philosophical tradition.

Great video 👍🏻 The Ancient Greeks/Romans used the word ‘philosopher’ meaning scientist/thinker.
Interesting video on how the Ancients viewed the gods. Glad to see other small channels that too are interested in philosophy. Keep it up. :)

Although the content and speak are pretty good, the videogame music and sounds are extremely annoying and distracting, also important diagrams and texts are being shown too short. This deserves a re-editing, pls. receive this feedbck positively and improve future videos thx
