  • Dr. Adam Nessim explains what a DIY postbac is in this video.
This involves taking classes at any school that fits one's schedule and can be advised by a professional advisor. While less structured, it is generally less expensive and more flexible.
Dr. Nessim emphasizes the importance of choosing academic rigorous courses and striving for all A's in the classes taken during a DIY postbac.

Thank you so much! I recently graduated from Stanford, and while I did some pre-med requirements there, I got discouraged and started something else. But later, I realized how much I wanted to help people with their health, yet I had no idea where to start with my pre-med classes after graduating. I saw some post-baccalaureate programs, but they are not in my area. So thank you so much!

thank you so much. So taking some courses at a community college won't drastically lower my competitive edge?
Also, I have been taking online prerequisites online since covid and still have to take a couple more after covid. I'm not sure if to complete it or go to a local university of community college for a DIY postbacc. Any thought on this? Thanks.
