Vegito is by far a top 5 character in DBZ, easily. And he's far stronger than he's alluding to. He is one of the best examples of flexing I've seen in Anime. Brings a ton of bravado, confidence, and charisma, and has the power to back it up. Goku and Vegeta: awesome separately, but far better together.

About Dabura. When Goku went to King Yemma to ask about Gohan (when he thought Gohan was dead..), King Yemma did mention that someone named Dabura did come by and he figured that he would enjoy hell so he just put him in heaven
Vegito was the coldest character in the show.
Watching Vegito kick his ass for 3 straight episodes was one of the most gratifying things ever
I’m happy you guys are going to watch the other DBZ shows, but I’m genuinely curious why you’re choosing to wait so long to watch DBZ abridged. Have any of you seen it yet? You’ve gotten past the point of spoilers since the abridged version basically ends after the cell saga. Plus I feel like it makes more sense to watch it before you get to GT or Super, since so much time passes. Will you at least consider watching it before you get to Super?🥺🙏

Buu has absorbed Gohan, Gotenks, and Piccolo at this point and is getting wrecked by base form Vegito. Throw in the fact none of them can regenerate and seeing how mad Buu got when Dende healed Gohan in the previous episodes shows just how weak he is if he didn't have that infinite regeneration. Upgrade to Super Saiyan and now the fun begins.

Watching this, I’m just imagining what dbz abridged could of done with it, if they continued with the buu saga
Like imagine instead of the same voices overlapping, they did a piccolo/nail/kami thing, but they took turns at who was in control of vegeto’s body, or they had to work together to control it that’s why they got hit
Like when it was showing buu “whooping his ass” at the beginning. But it was goku or vegeta in control, or they got hit because they weren’t thinking the same, then when it showed vegeto laying into buu, the other one was like okay my turn, or they finally said okay let’s work together
Then goku and vegeta were arguing over who had to catch the ball haha 😂

Vegito vs Super Buu Gohan Absorbed/Buuhan is one of my favorites in the Buu Saga
This is probably one of my favorite fights in the show (not counting the movies of course, it's just below Goku Vs. Frieza and Cell Vs. Goku for me, but regardless it's pretty great how much Buu and Vegito compliment each other as opponents

It's kakarotto plus vegeta equals vegetto.
Vegetto decided to name himself using Goku's Saiyan name, rather than his Earth name. His name, in Japanese, is Kakarotto, so combining Vegeta with Kakarotto gives Vegetto.
I surmise it's because Vegeta's personality is far more domineering than Goku using the potara fusion.
Goku never once referred to himself as Kakarot /Kakarotto in Z.
The fusion's ego screams Vegeta by referring to himself as super Vegetto after going super saiyan.
I recall Vegeta doing this with Cell.
you can tell who’s personality shows more by the name, Gogeta-Goku, Vegito-Vegeta

I have a love hate relationship with the fact that GT is next, because I want y’all to watch GT but gt comes further in the timeline than super so you’d be going forward then going backward. Regardless I love that y’all are continuing on watch db in general keep the journey going 🙏🏾

I wouldn't have minded it. But I do think them not going SSJ3 adds to Vegeta's character. He was insulted by Goku hiding it from him, so I don't think he'd want to do it as half of Vegito.
Vegito showed buu with his big bang Kamehameha that he couldve wioed him out beyond regeneration. That regeneration buuhan has to do tired him out. Buu was afraid for his life at that moment.

I think you guys should watch OG Dragonball before watching GT for 2 reasons. 1st, OG DB is easily the second-best DB series. There are hardly any disputes about that. 2nd, there are a lot of references to OG DB that GT and Super make. So it's good to watch OG DB first to understand those references.

First of all to be technical if you were to use Goku's real name in the fusion Vegeta's name the fusion name (VEGEROT) that is the fusion original name it is not Vegito because Goku is not his real name is Kakarot so you take the half Vegeta's name and a half Goku's real name and put it together and you get VEGROT
when vegito appeared he was flat out the strongest character in the entire dragon ball z manga and anime until “others” appeared later on
