I rode Bonneville's in the 80's and got a Rocket III in 06. I've gotten to old for that 1/2 ton machine and have been looking at the 2021 Bobber. Loved your review and it convinced me to trade in that monstrosity for a smaller more practical machine as our country roads are rapidly vanishing here. Keep up the good work and keep her between the ditches.
I stopped riding about 10 years ago. Chickened out. Last month bought a can am Ryker. Tons of fun. But reignited my love of riding. I was never a good or seasoned rider. Now I’m just older and very rusty. So last week bought a entry level Rebel. I said I’d give it a year or two to get comfortable again and then get either a Indian scout 60 or this here triumph. After watching this (twice), I’m more inclined to buy this. It’s GORGEOUS 😍. Great review. Thanks
Right on! Welcome back to the wind. If you have your license endorsements check with your local training school to see if they have a riding course to help you brush up and get back to riding. If you are in Oklahoma we do indeed have these kind of courses at OSU OKC called "Ready to Ride" and it is a free course as well as the OHP and Edmond Police that put on free skills courses to help you brush up in a controlled environment and they allow you to use your own bike so you learn on it. Otherwise the MSF courses are available in most places, but generally have a cost. But might be well worth it.
Rabid Hedgehog I’m in Canada 🇨🇦 and I’m taking a refresher course in 3 weeks. In the meantime I’m riding around the block and doing stopping, turning drills every evening. Crappy thing is we have really long winters here. So as soon as I’ll be comfortable to ride on the roads again I’ll have to put the bike away. Thanks for the reply. If I’m ever in Oklahoma we can take the Yamaha Bolts for a spin 🤣

I’ve owned and rode two HD sportys which were good , the bobber black however is a GREAT bike , love it
If I were looking to buy one of these I would spring the extra for the Bobber Black. Just for the twin front disc and the cruise control.
I am going to have to go and look for the said Bobber Black to ride and compare.
The small wheel/fat tire up front on the bobber black destroys the beauty of the bike.
This video has me sold now. Having inherited a 2008 sv650 and a boulevard from my late dad, I’ve taken up riding again. Was going to trade them in for a soft tail slim or a Indian chief. There’s nothing but Harley’s in my area and I wanted something different. I enjoy the quickness of my sv. And the cool relaxed factor of my dads old cruiser. I think these are a perfect blend for what I’m looking for. I can ride it aggressive or just cruise around. Great review! And thank you!

Dude great review, I recently bought one and I can hear in your voice all the same things I was experiencing as I found out each aspect of the bike, like holy shit this thing rips, man that sounds awesome, wow this seat isn’t slapping my ass lol, it’s a joy and I love it
this Triumph is my favorite bike, I'll be getting me one soon. Indian Scout Bobber is a close 2nd, I like the seating position of this one a little better but can't go wrong with either.
I shall agree. This one is a bit more comfy not just because the seating position, just the seat, and suspension.

It's a really cool looking bike. I love everything apart from then rear section. Iron 883 was a little cheaper so I got me new one of them 😉

It sometimes takes years and years. Others get lucky. May you actually get lucky and grow faster. This is year 6 for us and we're just now getting to that 10K mark. But as they say slow and steady wins the race.

I am thinking of getting T100 and Bobber. For the Bobber, is that comfortable when riding for a long trip.
I found the seating to be nice. Probably capable of a gas station to gas station trip and a stretch.

Would this be a good beginner motorcycle? I know it’s 1200cc and on the heavier side, but im vertically challenge so the bobbers are one of the motorcycle Im looking into. Im a beginner and if I buy a bike it would be my first bike ever
With great throttle discipline comes most anything can be a good beginner motorcycle. Also the power is not made like higher screaming inline fours of the same size so you should be able to find it useable. Also, this does have a rain mode so you can slow the power response if needed as well. With other aids like ABS and traction control it is also more forgiving.

How does it compare to your honda rebel 500?
Way more comfy and of course more power and nice things. This would be a bike for longer ranges while the Rebel remains a good choice for urban scooting.

i had a 2017 bobber, the seat is not comfortable, after 60 miles, your butt will start feeling numb, i sold it a couple of years ago, and i am regretting that, now i am contemplating buying another one, this time a 2023.i currently ride a 2016 bmw R1200R , probably the best bike i have ridden.
All the gears are TALL~! The mono-shock is hard and not adjustable! The Range is limited by the small gas tank. The fuel light illuminates just below 1/2 a tank!
take the traction control off....put put all the way at 2k rpm...
55 in first gear top out it not 2K..... That's redline....
