This is my first day at 7th City Collectables' 2-day, 800-point, competitive Middle Earth strategy battle game tournament.
I took a Rohan list in the form of riders of Theoden, with Theoden, Dernhelm and Gamling. it was a blast!

Recently found your channel. I love your twist on hobby vlogs and great commentary on battle reports. Its definitely part of my motivation to get get painting my Survivors of Laketown and get to my first tournament. Keep up the great work!

In Fog of War (and Assasination), you write down your targets AFTER deployment, even if "at the start of the game" might make one think differently.

Haha. I thought that might have been coming on strong but its only because it stood in such stark contrast with the venue. At the end of the day, it was still a smashing event.

XD He had a rough one, for sure. Losing Elrond's horse turn one. Failing his rerollable fate. Then losing a wound on Cirdan in the last turn!! Not much you can do when the dice turn on you.

looks like great fun was had. When you say Royal Guards, do you mean Royal knights? I don't see royal Guards (mounted) on the US GW site.
So much fun!! Basically, yea. Royal Knights don't have a datasheet. They're just royal guard on horseback. However, for some reason they're called Royal Knights on the website.
Did I miss it but I didn't seem to catch you ever using the special rule "Death!" which gives all your heroes a free heroic combat or strike once per game
Hey, thanks for watching. Dundee the videos are so dramatically cut down not everything makes it in. I recall in these games "death"never did anything particularly important so it wasn't included.

@Battle Camper Thankfully not, I did consider it for a last alliance list but went with starting a new army all together, Erebor Reclaimed as it complimented my teammates options better

The Rivendell Knight would have won on a 3-6. Their swords are elven-made, and you would obviously use a sword when not charging.
