- Have you ever lifted an IC and noticed there was a ripped pad underneath, or you split a sandwich board & see there are missing pads you need to rebuild?
Well, good news! The Refox Soldering Lugs are essentially pre-made jumpers & pads that make these types of repairs so much easier to deal with.

I love using these and its great seeing someone of your caliber using them. Much easier than using jumper wire. Great idea to keep the cut off bits as jumpers too. Keep the videos coming
That's great!
Great demo! I ordered some because of this video. Thanks!
Fantastic!
Love these! Thanks for the video Jesse!
Thanks for watching!
Right on thanks for this tip and tutorial 👊🏻

Thank you 🙌
Thank you for this video, very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video and they really do look good them pad repair kits👍
Yep! Been using them for about a month now & no complaints!
Thank you for sharing..👍🏻💪🏻
My pleasure!
Nice video Jesse. My opinion on them is they are pretty good when you can use them straight on, if you got to route the tail anywhere jumpers appear to be better. Just my experience so far. I did use the round pads to fix a few ripped off filter pads on an iPad recently. That was interesting.
Yes exactly. Must be something that goes straight. Otherwise, a wire is good for anything else.
I really like these for sandwich boards with ripped interposer pads
Nice work
Thank you! Cheers!
Legend!
Thank you!
Thanks 💪💪💪
You're welcome!
i smashed the like button so hard on this one! great video like always!!
this is the way!
I have em. still pretty hit or miss for me with them. ill get it down eventually like you
You'll get there! It does take a bit of practice
I ripped a couple because my solder wick got stuck to them. Maybe I should've used more flux. And/or not pushed down as much on the iron. Thanks for the heads up though.
definitely needs more flux. Also better iron
Awesome video !!
Just want to ask you ...why there is no special epoxy to extra secure that pad glued to the old pcb area ??
Or like using CA glue to fixate the copper to the actual missing pad area ??
Have you tried this ??
I know is a pain to do if there are 10 pads to fix but how come we have to endure using UV mask to fixate that little new pad ??
Is it that the new copper pad wont accept any glue added to it ??
Because uv glue is faster and easier
Thank you for a great video I mend a lot of Xbox;s one x, and I am just starting to reflow chips Can you tell me what temperature to replace hdmi timer chip and some of the chips on the power rail near the hdmi chip the power rail chip is the only one chip that I can’t buy for some reason we’re is the best place to buy replacement caps and other parts and components and do you no were I can get a full schematic of the main board I’ve looked everywhere and can’t seem to find the right one MENY thanks mark
Do you have a link for UV masking liquid?
I bought a small engraving pen so I can scratch off the leads to put in my soldering lugs
How do I replace the timing crystal points?
I dont understand
hello. What tool do you use for picking up and cutting tiny jumper wire in this tutorial?
Tweezers? 2uul 3D Tweezers
@@VCCBoardRepairs Thank you for rapid reply.
By the way,Is it possible to pick up or cut 0.02mm tiny wire with 2uul 3D Tweezers?
@@VCCBoardRepairs Is it possible to use 2uul 3D Tweezers for not only picking up soldering lug, but also chopping off as it is shown in 6:15?
Where do you buy the pads

I looked at the uv light on your video and damaged my eyesight 😩
I don't know what's going wrong with these things. Soldermask won't stick to it, it becomes a sticky mess. The glue on the things gets like chewinggum. I think I'm doing something wrong...
That's weird. You can try posting some pics and videos of what you're experiencing in my group: www.vccboardrepairs.com/vcc-fb-group
why not glue the pad?
UV Mask works better
