Toshiba Traction Elevators at Taipei 101 Mall in Downtown Taipei, Taiwan

- Filmed on May 13, 2018: there were several banks of elevators, but they are all the exact same like this one in this video. So with that said, I did not bother to film the rest of them. This is a very nice modern looking elevator of what you see in a high-rise building built today! Also, stay tuned for the famous high-speed elevators at the Taipei 101 World Observatory coming tomorrow! :D Installed in 2004.

I love these elevators!
They're definitely Toshiba; the chimes and the door open button symbol (i.e. man in between two lines) are distinctive features of Toshiba. Also that floor indicator outside belongs to GFC/Toshiba.

These are the HsinYi elevators because the are facing HsinYi Road.

What’s weird is the chimes & possibly indicator sound like Toshiba, but it says “HsinYi Elevator” below the indicator, so I don’t know if they had any relation w/ Toshiba or not.

Unfortunately, as of 2023, for this bank with the circle buttons, they got replaced by generic buttons, but rest of the equipment are still original. Only buttons got replaced by generic unfortunately.
